Cons: Breakfast served earlier. We had Volleyball tournaments all weekend and had to be at the convention center by 6:45. Breakfast at the hotel didn't start until 7:00am. Would have been great to have some cold breakfast options available.

Pros: We loved being able to walk out the hotel door and have live entertainment and fun things for kids. Being able to shop onsite and have great food without driving anywhere is amazing. We could enjoy a drink at hotel bar and then go to watch the dancing water show in rocking chairs provided. We also went to Dollywood and it was great too. Also the staff was very helpful and rooms are amazing. Will definitely come back again. Fun place for all ages!!
Cons: The only negative thing would be parking away from hotel. We didn't mind the walk and they have valet parking if needed.

Pros: The room has a nice fireplace which was very nice after coming in out of the cold.
Cons: The overhead heating and air unit made loud noises all night resulting in loss of sleep. The facility was nice in appearance and clean. We would say again but would request a different area. Management felt that the unit was getting ready to go out. They was going to adjust our rate but couldn’t due to booking from a second party. They did give us a voucher for the coffee shop.

Cons: The noise coming from the village (music, people talking, kids screaming) made for a very unpleasant experience. Also, adding to this is the zero soundproofing of doors (entry and balcony). Laying in bed up until after 11pm, kids and people were also talking loudly in the hall, running up and down the hall and basically making it such between the noise coming from the outside “village corridor” and the hallway it was impossible to rest until well after 11pm. Then again in the morning the piped in “village” music starts again and the whole routine repeats itself. The party I was traveling with in the second room said it is quieter staying in NYC! Shower water pressure is poor - a shame because the bathroom is nice. Don’t bother trying to use the gimmick of the margarita machine. It’s a chore to use and for the $65 the hotel charges for ingredients and hit/miss quality of the actual drink go have yourself a margarita in a restaurant. The machine margarita was foamy and a waste of money. If I went back, the only room I would consider here would be the back side stream facing rooms, but that would not eliminate the possibility of kids and uncouth parents yelling and screaming in the hallways incessantly. The room prices are top of the chart for this area so one would expect a different caliber of guest and hotel in general, but it is what it is. Lipstick on a pig comes to mind.

Pros: I enjoyed the fact that the rooms have a very modern feel. The shower in itself was wonderful! The added bonuses of the fireplace and balcony was great. Would love to spend a romantic weekend getaway here in the near future.
Cons: With all the nights we spent eating out, a free breakfast buffet would've made a big difference. We had to travel a ways off the property to eat breakfast.

Pros: Location is perfect for strolling the parkway, dining, shopping, relaxing, and having an awesome time with your friends. The rooms are very comfortable and excellent house keeping.
Cons: The hotel needs more room for checking in or needs to stagger check in times. We had to wait in our car in line for about 30 minutes to unpack, get valet service and check in. Also, disappointed that the gas to the fireplace was cut off on 4/1. The weather was unusually cold and it would have been very nice to be able to use the fireplace. We normally come in September when its 90 degrees and the fireplace is on but we have never been able to use it. Need to gauge it by the weather and not by a date on the calendar.

Pros: Spoke with the manager about the room next to mine who kept us up with a screaming child and an adult who was cussing loudly. When talking with the manager I offered him to listen to a recorded video I took of the nonsense. He said there was not need and the fact that it wasn’t anything the hotel did and that the guest was not there fault.
Cons: The manager could have offered another night in the future at no cost or even offered to cover the cost to breakfast in the downstairs restaurant on them. Nope nothing! I paid $300 for a night of complete nonsense.

Pros: We just visited for a 3 nights stay and I just had to do a review. This place is awesome. Very comfortable stay. Super comfy beds. The breakfast was phenomenal and the afternoon tea and water station was perfect when returning from our morning travels. The kids loved the evening popcorn and 24 hour hot chocolate stand (tea and coffee also). The fire pit at night was so relaxing and fun. So much to do in walking distance to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pros: We had a balcony room with 2 queen beds. The room was spacious, very clean. The beds were comfortable as well. My significant other is 6'1" and he really appreciated the tall showers. The breakfast was really good, especially for a continental breakfast. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Pros: This hotel was a great bargain. It has 2 hot tubs, a large indoor pool, an outdoor lazy river and a waterside. The continental breakfast was fantastic and they have complimentary cookies and popcorn each night. They also have complimentary water (flavored and regular) available 24/7. There is also a spa located at the hotel with a ton of services. Each staff member was so pleasant and welcoming. Location is great. We have found our new favorite hotel in OF!

Pros: This is our second stay at Clarion Inn Dollywood. The first visit was pleasant and this trip was the same. Our room was clean, the desk staff was very good and the breakfast buffet was amazing.
Cons: The door closure in our room is not calibrated correctly. Instead of closing slowly it slams as soon as you let go of it. There is no delay. This needs to be repaired before it injures an adult or small child.

Better than some Clarions I have stayed in, for half the price. Beautiful facility, very well maintained. Pretty lobby, excellent breakfast area and I loved the food. Small room but very comfortable, nice decor and everything very clean. A fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Nice flat screen TV and many channels. Pleasant courtyard outside our room. A pretty river next to the rear parking lot. Very friendly staff. Location is right in the middle of Pigeon Forge strip, next door to Christmas Place. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

The pool and hot tub was warm/hot and we loved that the pool was heated and indoor so you can swim year round regardless of rain or snow!! Rooms were cleaned daily and the river behind the property with the covered gazebo and grill/picnic tables was great along with the duck feeding area! Plenty of parking and not to mention this is right off veterans blvd which is within walking distance to The Christmas Place and many other great places on the strip in pigeon forge! Best location, loved our stay and we will be back!!

Cons: I was booked into the wrong room and was rudely awakened while trying to take a nap to switch rooms. This is after another couple walked into our room. Then the new room we got had dirty sheets and when we asked them to change them we were treated like it was going to be a problem for them. To top it off I had to take a cold shower. Cons: The room was a non-smoking room but smelled of smoke. There was a switch for a fan in the bathroom but it didn't work. The toilet flushed REALLY slowly and eventually got clogged. Unfortunately, there was no plunger in the room and this happened after 10pm, which is when the front desk person leaves, so we had a non-functioning toilet until after 8am the next day. So, don't try to check-in after 10pm or have any issues because there's nobody there. I get this is a small motel, but I've never stayed somewhere that didn't have a person onsite 24hrs for issues, etc. Parking was also very limited, if it's busy like when I stayed there, there didn't seem to be enough spaces for all guests...

Pros: My daughter had a field trip in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, and this was one of the lowest priced hotels that had decent reviews. We checked in on Friday evening and our cards didn't work. The desk clerk was very helpful, came up and let us in the room and remade the cards for us. The room was clean and warm, it had good water pressure in the shower.
Cons: It was 40 bucks - I wasn't expecting luxury, just a place to sleep and shower. The freezer part of the min-fridge was very dirty and the only reason I'm even noting it is because we had to store some medicine in the fridge and I had to refreeze ice packs. In addition, the remote didn't work to change the volume on the TV - we only watched TV for about 20 minutes before going to sleep, so it wasn't a huge deal. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints about it, and the only really negative thing of note was that when we came back from dinner on Friday night, there were police officers there for another room and it scared my 10-year-old daughter, although that's not anything that the River Place Inn could have helped.

Pros: Excellent location along Pigeon Forge Parkway. We were housed in the building located away from the Parkway and with access to a small porch with table and two chairs facing the small yard and the river running behind the property. (Rooms on second floor had balconies facing the river.) No road noise. No noise from nearly rooms (Motel seemed to have few occupants the days we were there.) Only "disruptive" noise came from loudly quacking ducks that patrol the parking lot and the yard behind the building. They quack at night as well as during the day. There are a variety of restaurants within a 20-minute walk from the hotel (also easily accessed by car) as well as an abundance of souvenir shops and such attractions as mini-golf and go-karting venues. Room was spacious: two queen beds, a desk, a movable table. Room had plenty of light (Many hotels where we stay seem to have too few lights.) with an overhead light in the open area near the door, a floor lamp near the easy chair, a desk lamp, bed lamps, and sink and bathroom lights. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer were all provided. Beds were quite comfortable Bathroom fan worked well but was quite noisy.
Cons: Housekeeping service was spotty. We could not be sure to have beds made, waste cans emptied, and towels/soap refreshed as a matter of course each day. Management was apologetic about the housekeeping and sought to make right each thing about which we commented. Except for the spotty housekeeping, we had no complaints about the place and would be likely to stay here again when we return to Pigeon Forge.

After he finally decided to give us a room, the room smelled like mold and the bathroom faucet know was on the side of the tub. Went to desk and got another room. This one wasn't much better. Room was extremely stinky. Bathroom didn't look clean. Towels and sheets were dingy and stained. Then my husband pulled back covers and there was a bug in the bed. And elevator has over an inch of standing water in it. Needless to say we left and stayed somewhere else.

You know how hard that is. I know it is winter months but the pool was green and I could tell it hadn't been maintained in a long while. In our room there was a block of wood attached to the door for the lock. If I were you I sure would NOT list this business on my site.
