The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. The water pressure was amazing.
Not charging for parking.
Room was large.
The pool was not in great shape.
Proximity to PPG Arena cannot be beat. Great amenities. Wonderful staff!
The bed a tad uncomfortable but overall a comfortable room & stay.
More than just a place to sleep!
Cambria Suites offer more than just a comfy bed. You also have a small sitting room with additional TV and desk space. The parking is self parking and very convenient to get your own car when needed. It is walking distance to many things and close to catch the T if inner city transportation is needed. I have stayed in various Hotels in the area and this is definitely my favorite place.
Convenient and cool, but our room was a little bea
Loved the location - right next door to Consol Energy Center and we were staying the night after a Pens game.
There were red spots on the carpet and walls that could have been cleaned better. the light fixture cover on the light switch in the bathroom was broken - had a big piece of plastic missing.
Business trip
Price point was cheaper than other options within walking distance to the David Lawrence convention center. The room was spacious and appeared to have been recently updated.
The room overlooked the front awning where visitors can drop off luggage. The awning is sloped and water aggregates in pools at the back end of the awning right in front of my room's window. It looked pretty disgusting and they probably need to clean it or should have putt a better drainage system/slope to the awning. The bed sheets had a subtle stench to them. The sink must have been clogged because it would quickly fill to the brim if left running. The shower was also a little grimy and the drain cover came off when I bumped into it with my foot. For the decrease in price compared to the other hotels near the convention center I think I could have done better.
Great location, quiet (even on a game night), spacious rooms & beds, clean rooms & common areas, free shuttle around town (even from location to location). I've stayed at 5 different hotels in downtown PGH; this may be my favorite.
My only complaint is that I had my mother in law with me who is quick to complain about anything (but she had no complaints about this hotel). My only suggestion is that if you want to sleep past 9 am, put your do not disturb sign out the night before so housekeeping isn't knocking on your door. I appreciated the knock, however, to help get my daughter out of bed.
Nice, but noisy.
The hotel was very clean and the room was very stylish and modern. Elevators were fast and convenient. Location to Consol center was ideal for Penguins game.
Paying for parking, no breakfast included, and the walla were a bit thin. The housekeeping crew was very loud in the morning cleaning rooms next to ours.
