The location was super convenient to the convention centre, where I needed to be. The room was very comfortable and the views were marvelous from the high floor!
The room was super comfortable and the parlour suite was super spacious! I also highly recommend the menu breakfast down at the hotel's Penn City Grill - the portions are generous and the food is delicious!
Great hotel poor communication
Comfortable clean great staff once checked in
There was absolutely no communication that a marathon would have all access to the hotel for check in shut down and even the course police officers sent us in circles for over an hour trying to gain access to the hotel. We ended up missing a meeting by the time we got through the marathon barricades and checked in
The location of the hotel is amazing. It is very easy to come into the city and find the hotel.
The beds we're extra firm.
Absolutely poor service
The room was decent.
The room wasn't ready so they took down my number at 2:45pm and told me they would call when it was ready. I went out around town and came back at 9pm to ask if my room was ready because I still did not receive a call. Terrible follow up and organization! Also - while my room was getting ready, the women at the front desk told me I could use the shower in the fitness area to get ready. I went into the women's locker room and there was a male cleaning it, therefore I couldn't even use it. The locker rooms were awful aesthetically and need to be revamped ASAP. The only service that was great was the bell hop/concierge where we left our bags. The gentlemen there was very helpful, friendly, and inviting.
Location is near all the bars and restaurant. Very close walk to Point Park .
Not very friendly staff. They told me that they was a shuttle thats take the guest around 1 mile radius which made me wait for about 45 mins until i had to arrange my own transportation. Gave a twin bed for a single person
Friendly staff, speed of check-in and check-out, location
noise level, slow elevators, pricey
Poor service. Construction projects have made mayhem. Front desk off in a corner. Staff frustrated and unhelpful. Guests were being sent to the Fairmont because they couldn't service their clients. Won't come back.
We didn't spend much time at the hotel except in the evening to comment on anything we liked about hotel. Staff was courteous.
The hotel was very noisy from midnight until 4 a.m. Had to call front desk at 1:30 a.m. to complain.
View of Mellon Arena because my son loves the Pittsburgh Penguins. At the starting line for Pittsburgh Marathon.
They did not have parking available at the hotel (full). Expensive rooms. Also, was hoping for a late check out to shower after running marathon....hotel would not accomodate.
I liked a lot the bed and the shower.
I did not like the location, it is not convenient for public transportation. I did not have a remote control for the TV set for a day (the staff could not find one). I asked for a bathrobe that was never delivered. The breakfast at the hotel is not good, and the buffet is simply terrible.
