Everyone was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Even the view was nice of the pond and geese. The only thing that could have been better was the weather. It rained every day we were visiting.

Pros (+) It was clean. Everywhere except the rooms seemed renovated.
Cons (-) Very bad location. Nothing nice around to do. The best place to eat in that neighborhood is like an old cafe. Nothing modern or fancy. The people who were stayin at the hotel weren't that decent either.

Pros (+) Excellent customer service and amenities. The room was large, well organized and clean. This is the best hotel around for the price!
Cons (-) The breakfast was good. However, I'm not a big fan of cheese on eggs. Maybe you could have two options -- one with cheese and one with plain cooked eggs.

Pros (+) It's a bit off the beaten path in terms of staying in Downtown Portland, but they run a free shuttle to the Max which makes getting into the city easy ($2.50) even if you don't want to drive the 15 minutes (although it takes a bit longer than 15 minutes). Perfect place to stay at a great price if you want to experience Portland without forking over $250/night for a hotel.

We stayed at another motel the night prior, and had the most horrible experience ever. The wonderful girl at the front desk was so helpful and wonderful. They treated us so nicely. Pros (+) The shuttle driver to the airport was friendly.
Cons (-) The booked me in a smoking room. The smell was so overpowering that I asked to have the rooms changed. They said no because "that was what was booked on orbitz" and didn't have any other rooms. I don't smoke and would not book a smoking room intentionally. there was no screen on the window. I felt sick in the morning. I travel a lot for work and have never complained about a room before.
