The staff were nice enough. The proximity to public transportation was nice. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance
Bed was decent. The room was visibly old and the bathroom was dirty. The shower curtain was mildewed and the tile grout was growing pink mold.
Cheap and close to the city center
Cheap room. Friendly staff. Great location.
Shower curtain needed replaced
TV didn't work.
Only went there because it was 2 min from my business meeting.
It was close to a business meeting I had which was great otherwise, just the sign.
Tv was small, built up dust in corners and along easy to clean areas, no plug for the tub, so no relaxing bath, almost slipped on the stairs and furniture looked like it was from an alley and out dated. Sorry just my experience and opinion.
Quiet location, clean room
Great value
$70 a night for two comfortable beds, and clean room in a great location on up and coming Interstate Ave. One of several good deal hotels on Interstate that represent some of the best values in central PDX.
Great Staff
The staff was incredibly accommodating. The location is also amazing. The motel is across the street from a train station, right next to a lovely little park, and within walking distance from the Mississippi District.
Even though my room was nonsmoking, it still smelled a bit like smoke. Not enough to give me a headache, the way smoke typically does, but enough to be noticeable when you step into the room. The wifi is decent, though nothing amazing.
The beds are not very comfortable, the toilet ran all night, and the fridge was noisy. But you get what you pay for!
Cheap price, cheap quality
Not much to like.
Room smelled very strongly like smoke. Not too clean. Overall, what I would expect for the price. I immediately wished that I paid up for a nicer place to spend the night.
Horrible horrible horrible
Could not have visitors room desk clerk bad night service
Great Value for Money
Friendly and accommodating staff, clean and spacious rooms, very affordable, excellent location right next to a park and a railway stop, only a short walk to Mississippi Ave neighborhood
Minor inconvenience of the fan automatically turning on when the light turns on in the bathroom
Don't do it
The location was central to two separate districts
When pulling up to this quaint little spot, you notice the horrid tacky neon sign - and you know you're about to have a bad time. Once arrived, my girlfriend and I were just trying to check into the facility for what our online reservation was for. The desk clerk proceeded to tell us that we were going to have to pay an additional 20 dollars to reserve the room and at that point during the night we didn't have another option. Although I must admit it was incredibly difficult to understand what the clerk was saying through missing teeth and a drunken slur. After much irritation we agreed, only to have our card charged multiple times because the receipt paper wasn't working correctly to which the employee thought the answer was to keep charging until it finally printed. We were both disgruntled and thought the awful experience was over, just wanting to get some rest. Subsequently - we were woken up at 9 a.m. To the sound of leaf blowers - that insisted to go on for over an hour. Their water is murky, the wifi is garbage and the staff is god awful. Represents their business practices. Stay away. TLDR: worst hotel/motel/airbnb/couch surf ever
