Great staff! Breakfast buffet is surprisingly well-priced.
Tub/shower is major slip & fall hazard. There is a grab bar in the shower, but needs to be one on the wall outside the shower. The tub is very slick; even turning around in it is best done using the grab bar in the shower. Entering & exiting the tub is risky. Towel hook on wall outside tub was nearly pulled out of the wall, likely from people using it as a hold to exit the tub. I'm a 48-y/o, 6'2", pretty fit guy and this was an issue for me.
Great hotel and great room. The only thing I would have preferred was to have a mini fridge in the room.
Needs major updates
- The free cookies at check in were great. - The bed was comfortable.
- The two women at check-in were terribly rude - There was no pool -The bathroom didn't have enough places to hang up used towels which meant we had to replace them more often as they ended up on the floor - The bar had very limited hours - The gym was terribly small
Convenient location in walking distance to NC State university.
Otherwise, rooms were average and not super clean. Paint on ceiling in shower was peeling and lighting was poor and dark. No refrigerator in room. Parking early in the evening near the building filled up and outer parking lot not well lit. Walls paper thin and could hear guest in next room and on balconies until early in morning hours. Overpriced for the amenities and age of the property.
It's a bit expensive but typically comfortable but a discount that frequent travelers would be nice
The rooms were clean.
Memory foam mattresses were so old and yellowed they were hard as boards. The shower was weak, shower head very old, no hot water.
