Moldy shower, unfriendly staff
The location and price are really the redeeming qualities about the hotel.
The front desk staff when we arrived was not particularly friendly but we weren't bothered by it. We were excited to be in Rome! However after two days in the hotel, on our last night, we returned from dinner and the front desk staff chastised us for not leaving our room key with the front desk when we had left. No one at the hotel had suggested we do so in any of the previous times we came in and out of the reception (several times both days). The interaction left a sour note on our stay. The room was NOT quiet at all. Every sound outside of our room was crystal clear, including the cleaning staff accessing the supply closet adjacent to the room very early in the morning. Lastly the shower was moldy. Gross. The bed was not very comfortable but in its own, if this had been the only issue, it would still have been a wonderful stay.
I am a nonsmoker and was given a room that smelled like cigarettes. I was not asked about the smoking issue at check in.
Very good location
small room, breakfast
The breakfast wasn't the best. The food wasn't fresh.
Nice and quiet location, within the walking distance to main places like: Termini Station, Colosseo, S. Maggiore, Basillica Saint Pietro in Vincoli. The rooms were nicely decorated. The terraces and the garden was really nice. Close to the hotel there are some nice restaurants and cafes where you can eat.
Some parts of the room was a bit dusty, but not a big deal to mention.
Staff very responsive & multi-lingual. Very good location enabling visits within walking distance of some of the most important historical sites in the city.
The hotel was warm and the staff were very friendly especially the older man in the resterant he was extremely nice and made us feel very wellcome
No the sevice and staff were very approachable
Overall the room was comfortable with a nice balcony. The breakfast garden was lovely.
The lack of a shower curtain or screen made the bathroom a bit wet!
Wonderful view of Ministry of Defense Compound from our balcony and the size of the room was nice.
The holder for the shower head was missing from the wall so we had to take baths and there was no air conditioning.
Placed right in the middle of all the attractions you must visit, the breakfast buffet was very good and 'roman'
the courtesy of the front desk staff/ and the secuity
