San José hotels in Hospital

Cons: Nothing, good experience

Cons: No genuine complaints. Trying to think what I'd have preferred to be different, the hallways and bathroom were less brightly lit than I'd like, but not bad. The hotel is very much a European style and not intended to look local in any way. My teens were the youngest people I saw there, and it's not set up for young kids. Location is great if you plan to spend time in San Jose but not terribly convenient to tourist attractions...which is true of any hotel in San Jose.

Cons: Overall, I liked the hotel but I did not like the pool area. There were always meetings being held in that area constantly so I didnt have a chance to swim. The pool was small regardless. I did not like the restaurant or the service very well. I would sit down and 20 minutes would pass by without a waiter approaching me and I would sit where they could clearly see me. I then have to flag them down to put my order in. The food was okay and pricey. You could do better at McDonald's in taste and price. The free breakfast there was very nice. Good assortment of fruit, cereal, yogurt, meat, bread, egss, juice, and milk. Location around the area is not the safest. As a foreigner, I do not recommend others to walk alone. Use a taxi.
