Room was very clean, the view and staff great the facility a bit worn but it is an older building and to be expected

Great spot for a good deal

We got a great price on this hotel and I was super surprised the quality for what we paid. The room was beautiful and the balcony right on the beach was great. We were very happy.

The one negative was that I found the hotel to very 'noisy' which was a bit of a letdown as we wanted a quiet/relaxing getaway on the beach. The leaf blower seemed to be doing work all day (or we were just coincidentally outside the times work was being done on the property) which kind of killed the romantic quiet beach view mode. And our room was right across the hall from the maintenance closet so first thing in the morning we could hear staff talking loudly right outside our door, keys jangling, people talking through the staff radio, the trash being dragged back and forth passed our door, etc. It's not a HUGE deal, but it was a bit of a mood killer.

We like the location, close to many activities. Hotel clean and employees warm and helpful. We have stayed here multiple times and have had a great experience each time! Thank you!

Very comfortable and plenty of room. Even though we were there in November, the location was awesome because of the view of the bay.

We were not affected by it, but not having an elevator has the potential for being a big drag.

Great for a fall getaway

We came to Pointes North Beachfront Hotel for a short getaway after our wedding. We love northern Michigan and were expecting great fall colors. Even though we did not get that on this trip we enjoyed it just the same. The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the beachfront view of the bay and our balcony. The chairs on the balcony were great for evening stargazing. The hotel staff was friendly and were right up when the batteries for our remote control went out. This is a great place to stay and we cannot wait to come back next year.

The room layout was a little awkward. Also, the breakfast was not very well advertised. In fact is was not until we left that we were aware there even was a breakfast provided.
