The place is really great! That's all I can say. If you are a family traveling on vacation then the residences are perfect for you. I would definitely stay there again.
I did not like that our bill was over 150 dollars more than it was when I booked with booking.com
Pleasant and friendly staff. Definitely good value for money. Some people may find Burrard St. somewhat noisy but then it's compensated by its excellent location and convenience. We are more than satisfied with the suite that we had. Although we did not do much cooking (apart from breakfast), the facilities in the kitchen were thoughfully provided, such as full set of crockeries and utensils, and daily change of kitchen towel and tea towel. It's always the little things that make one's stay in a hotel more pleasant. Food in the restaurant was also excellent and service attentive. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Le Grande Residence.
The airconditioning unit was in a closet in the bedroom and could be a little noisy when the cooling set in. We were not particularly disturbed by the running noisy of the aircon unit, because the weather was still relatively cool. But the noisy could be a problem for some in the summer. Provision of towers - on some days we had two sets and on other days three sets of towels. In a comparable hotel, one would expect to have three sets of towers. Laundry - it would be good if less expensive laundry service could be provided for longer staying guests. Finally, we suggest that guests be provided with copies of bills or chits for expenses incurred in hotel's restaurant for convenience of checking on checkout.
