Cons: Express laundry treatment is not "express" at all. There's no way to get laundry back the same day if deposited during the day. In my view that kind of service is essential for business travellers

Pros: Le Meridien is one of the finest hotels I have stayed in. The room was large, beautifully appointed and the staff could not have been more helpful. The location is fabulous with the Albertina art gallery, museums and the Opera House within a couple of blocks of the entrance. I would absolutely recommend this premier hotel to everyone!

Pros: Nice rooftop restaurant with a good view of the city, and the staff is polite and attentive to your needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Cons: They do not have a dedicated concierge, and front desk staff was poorly trained and equipped to provide the customer service you would expect of a concierge. In the concierge capacity, they are neither proactive to support their guests, nor do they have the knowledge or experience to meet the needs of their guests Also, the window shutters in the rooms do not effectively block out light when you are trying to sleep.

Cons: 1.The air conditioning was a huge problem. Could not get the rooms cooled down. The staff was helpful but made the stay very uncomfortable. 2. The wi-fi is expensive. These big chain hotels will nickle and dime you on services such as wi-fi when all other hotels give it for free !! 3. Currently construction is going on..caused some noise disturbance.

Pros: This is a comfortable and agreeable hotel with good facilities in a very central location close to all amenities, the historic centre and good public transport links. It is usually good value for money and services are of a high standard. I have stayed here on a number of occasions and dined or attended meetings during other visits to Vienna.
Cons: The wifi in this hotel is as bad as in so many other Vienna hotels. Free wifi is available, but requires a 12 digit/letter code and a separate code for phone, tablet, laptop etc. It only lasts twenty four hours so on a three day trip with three devices you are coding nine times. The signal has an annoying habit of cutting out. This is not a major complaint, but it should also not be a major issue for the hotel to resolve. Even in Vienna there are hotels which can offer simple, strong continuous wifi for multiple devices.

Pros: The hotel is quiet and clean and comfortable. It’s not luxurious but perfectly suitable for easy travelers. Rooms are spacious and easy to get to.
Cons: The corporate structure makes it impossible to call reception directly. There are no phones in the room either so the o my way is to actually go downstairs for every question, or to call the corporate line during open hours and wait to hear back.

Cons: Kayak/ Get a Room advertise "Laundry Facilities' for this hotel. On arrival you are informed that this includes only an iron. There are NO laundry facilities and the hotel description needs to get real. The desk clerk came to our rescue by identifying a Laundromat about a 15 min walk away and open till 10pm. At first she refused to make change but then relented. In general, how primitive Europe remains when it comes to self-service laundry. In Japan EVERY hotel has a couple washers & driers. Bartender also refused to provide ice. Said he had none. Sure.

Pros: Great location and able to walk into center area from the hotel. Also on the U & S lines so easy to get to/from the train station. The hotel itself while undergoing renovations is delightful as the rooms have been renovated, walk in showers and good lighting. Also sparsely populated w go FB make for ease of relaxing; bed, two chairs a small table and the TV on a stand. I was in a corner room and had full windows on two sides which provided fantastic views of the city and great natural light. Breakfast provided many options; too many and easy to get full on something you find available.
Cons: Entrance on Mitte square open, but this will likely occur when renovations completed.

Pros: Perfect location, comfortable and spacious room. Bathroom was OK and nice toiletries were provided. Breakfast was good and included in the room rate. They let us check in hours before scheduled check in, which was great for these weary travelers.
Cons: Wifi wasn't great, and front desk clerk didn't point out the card with the password, which could have saved a bit of frustration.

Cons: TV was not working, the room had a very awkward smell. The toilet was outside, though close to the room, but the shower was at the other side of the floor.
