Stylish and clean. Not fussy.
Bathroom light could have been a bit brighter/adjustable.
Location. Aesthetic. Friendly. Great bed.
Tiny bathroom. Room decor seemed unfinished. Toiled ran constantly.
Feel they should also have self parking and not only vslet
Great location adjacent to Georgetown and walking distance to several restaurants, grocery and drug stores. It borders neighborhoods and a good elevated view of the area.
hotel parking is $35/day including tax.
No room service and no in room movies.
Beds, size of rooms
construction, noise, no front pull up, crowded lobby
Everything. Very enjoyable.
Parking fee of $30. per. Especially when a comment on the website stated "free parking underneath". This fee would make me re-think staying again.
Right Across the Street from Russian Embassy
We had business at the Russian Embassy. The Savoy Suites hotel was perfect for us. The Russian Embassy is kitty-corner across the street. Traveling with a toddler, the kitchenette was helpful. The front of the hotel is under construction. Our room was in the back, and the construction was absolutely no factor for us.
The description of the hotel listed "parking" as one of the features of the hotel. I assumed "parking" meant "free parking". I was wrong. A parking fee of $30/night was assessed. I do not appreciate negative surprises when traveling, and I felt like I was taken - not a feeling I enjoy.
I will never recommend any of my friend .
Only the bartender was the most friendly.foods R expensive. I will not grade this hotel to any star. The most uncomfortable stay of my DC stay & 30 plus years travel life.
The beds are horrible. I still have shoulder pain. The curtain did not close at night keeping the outside light illuminating through the window. In my 30 years travel life I never experienced such a bad stay & sleepless night. I will never recommend any of my friend.
Good value for money
Wifi didn't work properly, breakfast is extremely expensive, restaurant was not that good and overpriced with bad service.
Staff was friendly, room was decent size, hotel was clean
The shuttle service was unreliable and did not run during the hours advertised on their website - they ran shorter hours in the morning and evening which forced us to pay for cabs during times we anticipated having transportation. The location is on the far outskirts of Georgetown and other than a few offerings of the Glover Park neighborhood, there is not much within walking distance.
Located only a few minutes from the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C., the Kimpton Glover Park Hotel features eye-catching design from bottom to top and is an ideal choice for business or leisure travelers. With free shuttles taking guests to such destinations and attractions as the National Zoo and Mall, it is a well-placed property for a visit to the nation’s capital.
A funky property with lots of modern design elements, the property also has a long list of amenities that include hosted wine hours each evening, free locally brewed Vigilante coffee and organic tea in the lobby each morning, free Kimpton PUBLIC bikes for exploring the city, an award-winning fitness facility (the Urban Athletic Club) with personal training options, in-room spa treatments, dog friendly facilities, activities for kids and even for dogs, outdoor seating areas, valet parking (with electric car charging), and free WiFi.
Dining includes Casolare serving three meals daily, as well as brunch on weekends; The Deck which is an outdoor patio serving custom cocktails during the warmer seasons, and private dining and catering in the restaurant.
The guest rooms include traditional rooms along with studio kitchenettes. All rooms are beautifully decorated with an organic and natural feel. Each room features a yoga mat, Tempur-Pedic bed, work desk, flat panel HDTV, mini-fridge and honor bar, designer toiletries, luxury linens, and a private bath.
Combining a long list of amenities with an excellent and convenient location the Kimpton Glover Park Hotel is a good choice for business and leisure travelers in Washington D.C.
