This is one of the best resorts in the hotel zone. The room was extremely clean, and the staff was always polite and welcoming. The one thing that sets this resort apart from others is how great the good is. There were at least 7 restaurants to choose from, on top of the cafeteria and sushi bar located in the lobby. The drinks were great. Some bartenders poured a little heavier than others, but on average everything was great and exceeded all expectations. This was my 2nd time visiting and I can't wait to return.
The hosted Víctor, he was very agressive whit us abouth the hotel rewards program
The staff was very friendly. Besides their timeshare sales shpiel, they didn't try to up sell us or push us into any additional purchases. The restaurants on the property were really good; much better than other all inclusives we are familiar with.
Even though we were in an upgraded room, the new fixtures were already coming off of the walls. Some of the outlets weren't connected to anything. Also, there were millions of ants. They sprayed on our balcony and in the room while we were there. My husband and I were eaten up.
Can get much better than this
Nice pool and bars. Comfort rooms. Close to the beach.
Staff always wabt tips. Rooms are not clean. Nothing to do inthe evening. Not putting enough alocohol on the drinks. Low variaty of food.
Food was awesome
Time share salesman are annoying
We stayed last year and came back for more! The grounds are well maintained, the staff is friendly and willing to help. Are flight was cancelled and we were on hold with the airline for more than two hours. The concierge stayed with us the whole time and the hotel staff went out of there way to make sure we had accommodations for the night in the same room. We loved our poolside drink waiter who checked to make sure we had a full cocktail at all times. The poolside restaurant serves the best fish taco's and the overall food was wonderful. We didn't have a bad meal. We love the size of this property, not to big but just enough to keep you entertained. We will definitely be back next year.
The most friendliest and helpful staff I've ever experienced. They definitely go the extra mile with a smile.
The food was a disappointment, and the alcohol was not the best. Maybe having more of a variety and top shelf . You could offer an all inclusive upgrade to offer better selections. the all inclusive upgrade would require a different color band and pay extra.
It was ok. Nothing special. It was too expensive for the value. Staffs were helpful.
Old resort. Rooms were cold even I took one of the best ocean front room. The Lock didn't work. Door got stuck several times. To me it doesn't worth the money we spent
Great service, best I've ever had
I'm in a clinic now with all the typical symptoms of "Mexico", but unless it's from unknown bugs in the room then it's not their fault anyway
Exceptionally friendly service that was readily accessible for both english and spanish speakers. Nice variety of food. Facilities and grounds were well maintained. Very clean rooms with potable water in the room. Very large beach with a bar on the beach. Sea turtles laid eggs on the beach during our stay and we were able to release baby sea turtles into the ocean on one of the nights. Would definitely stay hear again in the future.
Hotel staff were top notch. Bartending staff, especially Armando, Rudulfo & Carlos were great and really made our stay exceptional. All inclusive drink quality was better than expected and includes decent brands like Cabo, Hornitos, Barcardi, Jack, etc. By the second day, our drinks were made without having to ask as they remember your name and what you like to drink. Also appreciated that the lobby bar stays open til 1am, The Michael Jackson show that was preformed was better than the Cirque du Soleil M.J. tribute show that I saw back in the U.S. recently. Food was also fantastic. I especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the Ceviche bar out by the beach. Also enjoyed the poolside grilling that was done each day and the outdoor evening bar-b-que dinner served poolside. Pool itself was visually stunning with lots of tropical trees and plants. Pool bars were great to hang out at throughout the whole day. In my opinion, the rooms were clean, comfortable and seemed to have all you really needed. Ours was on first level with great view of pool and large lanai. I would without a doubt return to this property even over the other higher end property that I stayed at during the same trip to Cancun (Hyatt Zilara). Thank you Fiesta Americana Condesa and hope see you again next year.
I understand this is a family hotel, but kids should not be allowed to sit up at the bars. Several times, I saw children sometimes with and without their parents drinking non alcoholic drinks up at the pool/beach bars. Why some parents think this is ok, is beyond me. When I have my kid with me, I never allow him to sit at the bar.
Food was great as well as location. Great services throughout hotel.
The beds were not very comfortable
Nice breakfast, staff is kind, nice pool and the design is less scary than in other big Cancun seaside hotels.
The room (second floor, pool side) was a little humid and smelled moisture. On that side of the coast the sea is rough (common problem for hotels in that area)
The room was big
The bathroom too small, the hotel stakk not kind, the room that I ask at the moment of the booking was not available
Breakfast (very extensive choice and fresh/ly cooked), swimming pool, selection of shops.
Our room didn't have the safe (and the front door lock was not working properly), but they changed it in 10 minutes.
This is a very well maintained hotel with pleasant well mannered English speaking staff. The outside leisure areas are clean with a relaxed feel and have a lovely position right on the beach.
We booked two sea view rooms and they both had very small bathrooms without a separate shower area; the shower was over the bath in both rooms. We had on other complaints with regards to this hotel.
Check-in fast and easy, got a superb room with balcony and really nice view. Breakfast was simply wonderful, they have all you can possibly ask for, and then some! Hotel was very clean and facilities such as the pool area and so were also well kept. Compared to some of the larger resorts in Cancun, Fiesta Americana Condesa felt somewhat more private and less crowded in comparsion. And the staff seems trustworthy - when checking out, we forgot a purse with approx $5000 USD worth of jewellery, and when we called later it was saftely taken care of, and we could go back and get it, no problems.
Minor niggles, but the balcony was shared with another room, so if you like to sleep with your balcony door open... well, I guess you have to trust your neighbour! And shower was of the fixed type, no shower available for hygiene purposes near toilet. But Fiesta Americana Condesa are not alone, we stayed at another major brand resort in Cancun as well, and it was the same there. And yes, some items, such as coffe in room, are really on the expensive side.
The facility was very nice. There was a nice pool.
We had reserved a King room with a large balcony and ocean view. When we were taken to our room we were given 2 double beds and patio that you couldn't even walk on and a ocean view. When we asked to be changed into the room we payed for and reserved, we were given much grief. After threatening to leave, we were finally given the room we asked for. Over the rest of our stay we realized that there were many vacant rooms and there was no real reason we had so much problem getting the room we payed for.
Amazing Breakfast, good location
At checkin a bad surprise, the room with the "features" that I booking wasn´t avable, so I need spend more us$200 for a room like a booking. I really disapointed with these issue.
Located on the best beach of Canun, very great service, clean and with a very professional staff
Book a room with ocean view and with breakfast included ( 236 Pesos)
good service and nice staff
called in my room during my sleep .There is no place to dry clothes and towels. other thing : the turism staff inside hotel is bad and the atendents pratics differents prices for same tours.
Superb facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds.
Swimming pool and beach is in the shade of the hotel after 5pm.
