Dirty. Saw bugs on my bed. Pool not upkept, dirty plates and used masks littered the beach. No amenities. Didn't even stay the night. No wifi in room. Only 4 tv channels, all fuzzy. Awful place.

Pros (+) Breakfast was the best meal of the day. Luisa is a fantastic omelette chef. The staff at El Coz is 5 star. All hardworking friendly people!
Cons (-) The beds are very hard, but that is the case everywhere I’ve been in Mexico.

Pros (+) As always, the best things about El Cozumeleno are the location, being just feet away from the Caribbean. The snorkeling is excellent, the beach is protected from drifting sargassum by their sea wall, and the views from their rooms is breathtaking. The next best thing is their dedicated staff. Cons (-) The beds, like all in Mexico are too firm for my taste, although not as hard as others I’ve slept in on Cozumel. The food is hit or miss, and you don’t know from one day to the next whether it will be served buffet style or a la carte.
