Pros: It's very well-located, if you have to be near Taksim this is the best place. It's close enough to the meydan and to the Metro and buses, but not so close to Istiklal where all of the noise and crowds are. The rooms are nice and comfortable.
Cons: The Wifi was very slow and kept going in and out, if you're paying $140 for a room you shouldn't have to deal with something even $28/night hotels in Istanbul get right.

Pros: It might not be brand new but with an unbeatable location next to Taksim square and splendid views of the Bosphorus from almost every room as I found out, this is the best value for a luxury stay in Istanbul. The breakfast is vast, the staff incredibly attentive and courteus and it has one of the best gyms I'vê ever seen at hotels around the world. Highly recommend it

Pros: We were in the hotel about 9:30. We have a 14 months old infant , He was very restless and tired. We were tired too.We asked the reception to give us a room. They told us they are cleaning the room & will give it about 11 & 12 . We went out for breakfast and returned about 11:30. They told us the room is not ready yet. All the time baby was crying and restless. At last they gave the keys about 14:10. We have traveled a lot and have experienced many hotels around the world,but never seen such a unprofessional treatment. The room was very noisy & locked !! Never seen such a thing before. Feeling that I am in a jail room, not a king room . While checking out the receptionist asked me to pay 155 tl extra for my daughter, who is 13. I told him you should tell me while checking in, also she was sleeping on the sofa, without any room service. As a tour guide, Hotel Ramada just has a big building with a poor service, I do not recommend it at all.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I learned that the hotel had incorrectly booked my reservation for two extra days at the business rate (I had booked 2 days at a lower rate, as I would be staying for leisure and did not want to pay the higher rate paid by my employer). Rather than fixing this, I was told to deal with it with my agency, even though I had a copy of the email confirming the length of my stay. For a 5-star hotel, this is an okay option--nothing special compared to others in the city. Most of their hotel staff are nice, but many (especially reservation and reception staff) are fairly complacent and could use a refresher on etiquette and courtesy.
