We loved the location and the staff. the room was spacious and trendy with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, a small kitchenette and a second pull down bed. This is a great spot for families. Pets are accepted (you probably need to make a prior arrangement.
Friendly staff, separate bedroom, kitchenette with small stove, cookware and kitchenware, in the heart of Old Montreal.
The room was lovely and we liked having a mini-kitchen. The staff behind the front desk was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations.
Going to the bar for a cup of coffee in the morning, I received cold coffee, which they did replace, but there was a lot of chaos there. Somebody came in to stock the alcohol for the bar, three other staff there, but it still took awhile. Then while drinking my coffee a supervisor came and was reprimanding those 3 staff people, instead of taking them to the back room to do it.
Walking around old Montreal & comfort of hotel
Very nice ambience (including fire and candles in the lobby area), large suite, fabulous location (perfect for wandering around Old Montreal, cafes, restaurants, and browsing the boutiques). In addition, I forgot something in the room, and the staff kindly agreed to send it directly to my home.
Very spacious for Old Montreal
No on-site parking
Staff, lobby, suite, furniture, amenities
Breakfast buffet not up to par i.e. Only one type/flavor of yogurt, poor selection and appearance of fresh fruit, strange-tasting orange juice, and no oatmeal! Also, no complimentary tea/coffee service/self-service 24/7
Having stayed in two other hotels of the same category in Montreal over the same week my favourite is Le Saint-Sulpice. The staff in all three places was equally friendly. Where Le Saint-Sulpice is coming in first is the equipment and the feel of privacy and comfort transported by the suites. The kitchenette is fully equipped, a decent bottle of wine readily available. The living room is spacious. The covers comfortable. The bath is nicely lit. It is equipped with high quality fixtures and care products. Did not try breakfast so I can´t comment on it.
Good location with very helpful staff.
Very nice hotel. The suites were enourmous. The satff working the door were great and very helpful, especially since the front desk staff couldn't be bothered.
The staff at the front desk were less than helpful and I was ignored on several occasions standing at the front desk. The concierge seems to be hit or miss it terms of actually being present to answer questions. .
the room was great and the hotel was very well located
Service very slow. Noise of other hotel guests. Room not serviced on second day bad form. Night porter not polite.
Spacious room, large bathroom, separate shower, kitchenette facilities
Very few vegetarian choices on the dinner menu - actually no choices for main courses
Le Saint Sulpice is a luxury hotel in Montreal, and it offers a wonderful setting as it is tucked behind the Notre Dame Basilica in the center of the Old Montreal district. That means it is walking distance to the Montreal Courthouse, shopping of Rue de la Commune, the Old Port, Museum of Contemporary Art, several major Metro stations, Telefilm Canada and even the convention center. The Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is 10 miles from the front door, as well.
And while it is ideal for a business or leisure traveler to be within easy walking or commuting distance of premiere locations throughout Montreal, this boutique hotel also has a long list of wonderful amenities and services available right on the premises. These include a concierge desk, laundry services (for a fee), access to nearby spas and fitness centers, and three in-house restaurants and lounges that include a lobby bar with fireplace, a terrace and a full bistro restaurant.
The hotel is an all-suite property, with options ranging from superior to signature. There are fireplace suites available on demand, and all are decorated in a beautiful, old-world manner. All have large sitting areas, great views, premium bedding and linens, large and well-appointed baths with signature toiletries, opening windows, a galley kitchenette, and entertainment systems, among many other features and services.
Whether for a quick business trip or a lengthy holiday in Montreal, the charms and luxurious services and amenities found in Le Saint Sulpice are sure to enhance the experience.
