The location is close to universal. The shower pressure was great. Carpet was sticky.
I can usually sleep anywhere, but the beds were hard as a rock. At one point we got up in the middle of the night to see if it was actually a mattress or the box spring we were laying on. The pillows were strange too. No sleep. We joked that we could have slept better in the car. Breakfast was chaos. A tiny spot for too many people. It was like the hunger games and didn't feel like volunteering as tribute.
It was a 5 minute drive to Universal Studios. The room was clean and the breakfast was good!
Smoke detector started beeping at 1:30 am, so we took it down and removed the battery and tried to go back to sleep. The next morning, I told the front desk person and he made a note to have the battery replaced. We came back late that night, after a long day in the parks, to find that not only was the smoke detector still laying on the dresser, without a new battery, but the door to our room had been left OPEN! Fortunately, nothing was missing and the manager apologized profusely and checked the cameras, to see who had been in our room last. He also personally came up to our room and replaced the battery in the smoke detector, but it never should have gotten to that point. My advice, if you stay here, would be don’t leave anything valuable in your room because your door might be left open and there is no safe in the room. Hopefully this was an isolated incident, and has been addressed, but I felt like people deserved to be forwarned.
You get what you pay for
Bed was comfortable
Construction going on..inattentive staff..poor quality hotel..no amenities
Great parks hotel
We stayed here for our 4 day trip to the Orlando theme parks. For us it was perfect as we didn't want to spend a lot on a hotel that we were barely going to be there to enjoy. The rooms were spacious and clean and house keeping did well everyday. Free breakfast was good and comparable to higher priced hotels I've stayed in. Over all it's not the Ritz but a great price for a comfortable and clean hotel with complimentary breakfast.
Clientele is low end but you can't have it all
Staff were very friendly. Clean, close to everything Orlando
Close to Universal and restaurants, complimentary shuttle to the park.
Room smelled musty.
Location Staff was good Pool looked ok No Bed Bugs
Under Construction Rooms out dated Shower tiny and water pressure horrible If your room is on the back side, Interstate noise is loud and noticeable
The location was fairly central and guest service staff were kind.
Hallways and room were very humid. Rooms/beds smaller than a other double hotel rooms we've stayed at for same price. Cleanliness was below average in room and around hotel. Parking very limited.
Walking distance from Universal.
Cleanliness was severely lacking. Lobby and rooms are the only air conditioned areas of the hotel leaving the halls extremely hot. Overall it seems the owner see this as a cash cow because its convenient to Universal and that people will pay to stay regardless of the condition of the hotel.
The place was really dirty and the room had a bad odor
Breakfast was good, friendly staff, convenient location (across from Universal), and pet friendly.
The bathroom had small bugs (size of gnats) crawling all over the sink area, room is small, breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m., pool was dingy and old looking (so we didn't use the pool).
