Cardinal has Class
Great ambiance, great staff, lovely history.
The hotel may not be for everyone -- if you like a modern experience ,not for you. Stay away, please, from my favorite hotel.
Location location location
It's right in the center of everything I just walk to Stanford, restaurant's, etc.
You get some noice early morning trash collection and late at night people walk-in from bars, but they do offer ear plug
Location was great in the center of downtown Palo Alto. Cool old elevator. Very affordable.
It was very loud at night from some of the nearby bars, though it seemed to quiet down after midnight. The shared bathrooms and showers were a bit of a hassle, but we never had to wait to use one.
