Paris hotels near Boulevard Saint-Germain

Pros: The entire atmostphire is elegance and relaxed

Pros: Hotel Plaza Athenee (HPA) is the definition of superlative luxury. As an American in Paris, to be welcomed into The HPA is, in a profound sense, to be welcomed into the heart of France . . . into Parisian luxury. I must, in truth, admit that I am a person of exacting standards (my professional life requires such standards). Thus, for me to state highly complimentary remarks about a hotel amounts to deeply resonant truth. And too, I am deeply aware that the world contains people who have great means and those who have little or no means. Given this as background, my fervent wish is that all persons could experience the luxurious delight of The Hotel Plaza Athenee.

Pros: Facilies were very nice and the location is very central. Very short walk to multiple train lines and metro. With one exception with an encounter with a bartender which was terrible, the staff was great. Most front door men are always hustling bags, giving directions and calling cabs. All spoke English.

Pros: Overall help with taxis, dinner reservations, comfort of the room, location close to exciting parts of Paris, extremely helpful staff. Also, the size of the room, relative to other Paris hotels, is superior. A nice, professional, contemporary hotel with a first-class staff and great attention to detail.

Pros: Service was excellent. All staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel is conveniently located 5 min from the Louvre, restaurants and the metro. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: A very interesting business concept—somewhat hip/edgy, extremely functional room layout & design in tight quarters (for a double bed, one party has to crawl over the other to reach the other parts of the room), and very automated (raising/lowering day and night screening for the window, lighting levels, etc. all done using an iPad with a customized app). Breakfast & helpfulness of staff were excellent. Not much in the way of room cleanup between the nights we stayed there, but that may be something one has to specifically request.

Pros: I needed an inexpensive hotel near Gare de Lyon, so I could catch an early morning train without too much hassle. The hotel is very good value for the money. The first floor of the hotel is currently being renovated. My room was small, but extremely clean and comfortable, fine for a single traveler. The reception was courteous and the hotel safe.

Pros: I was travelling solo with a broken ankle (not recommended) & the hotel both gave me a ground floor room to give easier access & also prioritised my room getting cleaned so that I was able to get in to rest before 2pm. Everyone was lovely & friendly & helped wherever they could. Also, the pillows are fantastic!

Pros: Location was fantastic, extremely close to a metro station that you could take to pretty much wherever in Paris you wanted to go. Whilst the hotel was very luxurious (especially after a free upgrade to the executive suite) the immediate area around the hotel was rather grubby, with some intimidating homeless stationed not too far from the main entrances. The facilities were great, a nice looking gym on the 3rd floor, the pool was very nice albeit a little smaller than the photos make out. The restaurant was reasonably priced, and the food was decent. The hotel staff very friendly and spoke a variety to languages and I felt there was no real language barrier. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean and could not be faulted.

Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location is great if you know how to move around using public transportation.
