Pros: Overall help with taxis, dinner reservations, comfort of the room, location close to exciting parts of Paris, extremely helpful staff. Also, the size of the room, relative to other Paris hotels, is superior. A nice, professional, contemporary hotel with a first-class staff and great attention to detail.

Pros: Service was excellent. All staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel is conveniently located 5 min from the Louvre, restaurants and the metro. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: Facilies were very nice and the location is very central. Very short walk to multiple train lines and metro. With one exception with an encounter with a bartender which was terrible, the staff was great. Most front door men are always hustling bags, giving directions and calling cabs. All spoke English.

Pros: A very interesting business concept—somewhat hip/edgy, extremely functional room layout & design in tight quarters (for a double bed, one party has to crawl over the other to reach the other parts of the room), and very automated (raising/lowering day and night screening for the window, lighting levels, etc. all done using an iPad with a customized app). Breakfast & helpfulness of staff were excellent. Not much in the way of room cleanup between the nights we stayed there, but that may be something one has to specifically request.

Pros: Title says almost everything. The location is almost perfect -- a few blocks from Notre Dame, close to the Metro, close to a slew of excellent restaurants. Comfortable, plenty of room for my wife, adult son, and I. Air conditioning worked well, kitchen was very useful for breakfast, laundry in basement was very handy given we were there for a week. We got great advice from the front desk for restaurants and found everyone on staff friendly and helpful. And the room was very quiet, despite the location.

Pros: We stayed at the Hotel Mercure for our anniversary and were delighted with the accomodations. The hotel was beautiful and the room was clean, comfortable, modern and well appointed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always going the extra mile to provide outstanding service. The Hotel Mercure has larger rooms than we have seen in Paris and even has several dedicated accessible rooms for differently abled guests. For travelers from out of town, the hotel is very conveniently located, close to two different metro lines and the bus. Within three blocks there are several fine restaurants and brasseries, three grocery stores, and a wide variety of shops, bakeries and boutiques. Most of the hotel staff speak very good English if you are still working on learning French. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Paris.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location near The Luxembourg Gardens, which are great on a nice day. There are many restaurants nearby and the staff is really helpful.

Pros: Very friendly staff, awesome free coffee and fruit anytime you like; the facilities are modern style and clean. I got the apartment, which is not too big, but is functional and ideal when traveling with family (4). Location was excellent, you are in the 1st. arrondisement in the heart of Paris, almost everything is within walking distance.

Pros: Great location, a bit out of the center but literally about 30 feet from metro station. And it is about 30 mins walk from Louvre area and the Seine bank. The hotel faces a plaza with many food places but not much shopping. It was clean and very comfortable with probably the biggest bathroom I have ever seen. The staff was outstanding, with one minor exception. Our breakfast was not included, and it was fairly pricey for 18 euros. I would highly recommend it. The hotel also stored our luggage since we arrived way early before check in time.

Pros: Location! This hotel is located right on top of one of the major metro stations, which made getting around the city super convenient. Room quality, amenities, and service weren't quite as great as other luxury hotel brands, but were still far above average. Aside from a minor screw-up at check-in, I had no complaints.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Everyone was super nice, from the front desk and concierge to the restaurant staff and bar tenders! Even housekeeping was present and made sure we had everything we needed, even though we woke up so late! The hotel itself is interesting and has a beautiful layout, but you can tell it's very old and has had many different restorations. The courtyard view is beautiful, and it's in close proximity to lots of restaurants and shopping and even the canal and République Square which is a great social spot. Also, it's probably one of the only hotels in Europe where you can find rooms with two full size beds and are really spacious!
