Cheap. Not filthy.
The “non-smoking” room smelled like old stale smoke. Like the stench of smokers who’ve stayed here in the past. Broken shelving in the bathroom. Furniture was in poor condition. Cigarette burn holes in linens. Low shower head. But, it was the cheapest rate around. You get what you pay for. Located in a crappy area. Wouldn’t have walked to anything, not that there was anything to walk to.
Not the best option
Close to airport
Dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, TV doesn’t work, Phone in the room didn’t work, rude lady at front desk in the AM.
Location was the only thing. Close to what we came to Portland for and close to the highway!
Our room was booked, not booked, whatever that means, so we got put in a room directly in front of the elevator so everyone's conversation became ours. They are remodeling, but you can't put a band-aid on it and call it fixed! Sink was backed up, sheets don't fit the bed, stains on them and pillows, blankets had holes and cigarette burns (we think), they don't have a maintenance person so the owner and staff are trying to handle stuff! Looks like they went to the thrift store and tried patching it together. The owner is rude which is how come I can see them being in between contractors, she's probably nasty towards them. It must've been a "sketchy" motel cause that's just about who we saw in and out. Paper thin walls and the breakfast is not breakfast it's continental breakfast by 9a!
Staff was nice. Hotel was Very dirty.
Blankets spelt of ciggerettes. Sheets had ciggerette holes. Hairs all over blankets. Remote was sticky. The worst hotel I stayed at in my entire life. I slept without any blankets or pillow. Very dirty and uncomfortable.
