Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: This is not a hotel, nor a bed and breakfast and not even an airbnb type of place. It's a mix and there's the problem. They rent out rooms of an apartment as individual hotel rooms, with common space between all guests. Feels like a dorm. Obviously, one can hear what the neighbors are doing and it can get embarrassing. if you are okay with such a set up, then sure go for it but I as per my research (which I did later), there are plenty more lodging options in Rome for cheaper price ranges. Staff is friendly and the place itself is very clean. However, they do not have staff on the property, so you might have to wait for them to show up if your timing gets changed.

Pros: I liked that the hotel offered us a better room after initially trying to put us in a not renovated room that would have made me leave it at once were it the only choice. I liked that the hotel immediately brought us better pillows after we asked for the hard foam ones in our room to be replaced. I liked the breakfast and the friendly staff

Pros: Excellent service. Clean rooms. All toiletries and coffee well stocked. Polite and nice employees willingness to answer all your questions.
Cons: Bed was to hard for me. Hurt my back but I requested a mattress pad the day before checkout. I left my room all day and when I got back to the room the mattress pad was on the bed providing me a comfortable night sleep. Should have asked for it two days earlier.

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Pros: The location was excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious. The people at the reception desk were always helpful. The (included) breakfast was completely amazing. We especially loved going to the garden room restaurant to have a beer in the late afternoon to cool off and rest a bit (they also brought a bowl of peanuts, a bowl of potato chips, and once, a bowl of mixed snacks to go with).
Cons: One night we were too tired to find a local restaurant so we ate in their restaurant. The food was good, but pricier and not as marvelous as the local restaurants off site. But that's in comparison to the fabulous food all over Italy, so its a really high bar.

Pros: An old hotel that has echoes of "The Grand Budapest Hotel", a faded palace where Verdi once stayed. Steps from Termini station and the A Metro at Republicà, it is an excellent jumping off point for your Roman stay. The staff is extremely friendly.
Cons: The included breakfast is forgettable, though the garden in which it is served is not. Skip it for a cappuccino and corneto at one of Rome's countless Caffè.

Pros: The price
Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies. That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Pros: The ease of walking out the hotel and being able to reach each famous landmark/ site with in half an hour at the most (Bar the Vatican) was I thought very convient.

Pros: -close to a grocery store (good for buying cheap water and wine) -less touristy area -very clean -friendly staff -comfortable bed -best "included breakfast" I've had in Italy. nice spread of fresh fruit, eggs, beacon, cured meats +cheese, pastries. Orange +pineapple juice + water
Cons: -overall value wasn't there for me. We stayed at much better Airbnbs and other hotels with AC, just as clean, better locations and more useful staff for a fraction of the price. Not worth the gym, spa or breakfast. Highly suggest the Azuri Guest House. It's a bit smaller and less"grand" but about 3x Cheaper, very clean and has AC. Located in the monti district where you can find cheap good food, it's more central and has a nightlife. -room was hot and humid with no way of adjusting the temperature mid October(the number 1 reason for getting a low score) -no way to turn AC on once they turn Heat on (ok if you don't mind noise by openining window) -reception is a bit stupid and lazy. Couldn't get towels, they didn't "know how to book a shuttle or taxi to the airport" -small gym that's not properly ventilated, it's extremely stuffy in there. 2 treadmills, a bike, up to 10kg dumbbells and a really bad piece of techno gym equipment. -Elevator is really small.

Pros: The hotel is a small building with small but clean and comfy rooms. Wi-fi works perfectly fine, there's air conditioner in every room (extra charge for using it). Very affordable hotel. What I liked the most is that it is 4mins away from Roma Termini (train station) walking... It's a HUGE advantage and it will save you some money and time.
Cons: I didn't like the air conditioning was an extra charge (€5 per 24hrs). But everything else exceeded my expectations considering the price.

Pros: The area was great, away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown and a 20 minute walk to the centre. The locals in the area are kind and a Piazza with market nice and close.
Cons: You get charged for late check ins, the rooms are smaller than the picture would have you think. The space is loud if you are there with other guests. Zero amenities so you must be very self-sufficient...I think I saw a staff member twice while we stayed there.
