Location, location, location at a decent price. Room was cozy with sufficient space. Staff were courteous and attentive. Beautiful pool in the middle of the city. Lots of windows to let the fresh air in and get a feel of the weather outside.
Bed was a little too soft for my comfort. Views from windows not impressive.
Close to transort, shops and lots of diners and restaurants
Great hotel. Small enough to be pleasant and cozy yet big enough to offer amenities. Nice location at Union sq. Weird/expensive parking ($70 a night for my truck) and no valet but very nice hotel. I'll definitely stay here again.
The hotel's location close to Union Square and a lot of events and fun
* Old Hotel * Voices of noise and nuisance from outside the hotel * the bathroom it is small
Perfect location and very cute rooms in historic building! Safe environment, lots of great restaurants around.
The beds were not comfortable.
We always enjoy our stay at The Handlery. It's a good location and the staff is always friendly.
Location was perfect House keeping was good
Mattress was uncomfortable , seemed to cause backache . Space was congested
I loved it all! Everyone was friendly and the room was great. Awesome parking lowest priced compared to others and a great location. I'm will definitely be back!
the room was very small and it sounded like people were moving furniture above me all the time.
The worst hotel experience I've ever had. Even though I did book at the last moment, there was nothing about the hotel to justify a rate of 200 a night. A creepy, worn hotel. A long, darkened hallway leading to a room next to a darkened stairwell, whose door I could barely fit through. The room was small and adequate. Worn carpet, fixtures Small, awkwardly laid out bathroom. Other than the location I can't think of anything to recommend this hotel.
They were very helpful getting the room we wanted and helping us out finding things to do in a city we did not know. The rooms were very classy as well.
Just the location. It was at the heart of everything, but some might be looking for that kind of trip. I can't really say its a negative but it was too crowded in the city where we were. Again some might like being in the center.
great little hotel with unique rooms. friendly staff
Could not control room temperature. Room got way too hot and would not cool down enough to sleep.
Great location central to department stores, good transport links.
Room size was very small
Excellent for our family Usa trip good position and rooms well appointed. Recommended
comfortable room, good rate, good location, helpful staff.
Very effecient well run hotel.
Clearer instructions on how to get to our room (we were in the 'annex' building could have been given.
Great location. Pool was nice, and heated too. Rooms were impressive (big enough and nicely furnished)
Our view of the alley was a little dissapointing given I asked for a view. Housekeeping was cheery but late when we needed a wine corkscrew (interesting that the do not have this in the room - they should)
Rooms too small
location, location, location!
Rooms are a little bit claustrophobic and old, needing renovation
