Cons: No bathroom exhaust fan

Cons: Limited parking. If you returned after 9pm you had to park on the backside of the hotel which wasn’t lit very well.

Cons: Everything was marvelous!

Cons: The lounge/restaurant staff.

Cons: The walls were very thin and the neighbor had a crying baby and toddler that drove us from our room. We understand it's the not the hotel's fault, but when we inquired about being moved to a different room we were met with some rudeness and told to "wait an hour or two" and that they would call the room and request them to quiet down. Good enough. However, the call never happened and the children did not quiet down. We inquired again at the front desk and were told they did not call the room and when we asked why not we again were met with a rude attitude. We left for dinner and returned to a fairly quiet room later that night. At 5:50 AM we were awoke by a phone call to our room phone. A gentleman introduced himself as "Charles from the front desk". He said a computer glitch had occurred and they needed to verify a number of occupants credit card info, we would just need to come to the front desk OR if we want, give him the info over the phone right then. We opted to go to the desk and he opted to hang up before we told him that. Later at the front desk we learned there was no "Charles" that work there. This room was targeted for credit card theft along a number of others and I wouldn't be surprised if he succeeded. We reported this to the front desk and were treated poorly a third time, however the manager did come out to talk to us and take all our info about the phone call and was a very nice person.

Cons: Crowded rooms, very small bathroom with sink out in the middle of the sleeping area. Rooms pretty small to make into "suites." Really just a couch and desk in the open room.

Cons: If you return to the hotel in the late evening you end up parking behind the hotel, but there is a side entrance and the lot is fairly well lit.

Cons: Hot tub was out of order the first night, but was fixed quickly.

Cons: Slow, slow, slow speed of internet. The bed was an older style., not the most comfortable or the a usual bed that's in a Hilton-Garden inn.

Cons: Room smelled like swimming pool.Did only the bare minimum to refresh the room daily. No bed service. One day didn't make the bed because our 4 year old's stuffed animals were on it. Never made up the pull out sofa bed for our entire stay.

Cons: The food was very expensive. Portions are small.

Cons: The parking lot is being redone so in front of the hotel is all torn up. In order to get to our room we had to drive the long way around because that front area was blocked. This also caused an issue with Google maps because they want you to do a u-turn off the highway and enter the front parking lot but it's blocked. So we had to get on the highway again and sneak in the back way from Broadway. Avoid this problem by not doing a u-turn at the light, just turn left into the main hotel parking lot!

Cons: This is an old and tired hotel (at least the portion I stayed in) that is in need of a renovation.

Cons: Hot tub and pool area a bit too small. Water pressure was a bit low.

Cons: Floor wasn’t seemed vacuumed properly... hair found everywhere

Cons: We booked a king room. Once we checked in we walked in to our room and it was a queen. I called and the lady stated she gave us an upgrade on a higher floor. We went down to the desk because we booked a king room and defiantly wanted a king room. The gentleman at the desk said he did not have anymore king rooms available. I showed my reservation and he said "when you book through a 2nd party, they can't guarantee the rooms." I've never heard of this before? Was very upsetting and unprofessional to us.

Cons: The customer service is horrible at this hotel. You would think for the money they would want to take care of their guests. I would never stay again.

Cons: $17 to self park seemed a bit high for Spokane, but the overall value that this hotel represents makes up for the parking fee.

Cons: That I couldn't stay longer.

Cons: Didn't like that there were barking dogs waking me up and in the lobby as I walked by and another person was going to pet it. Staff wasn't awesome either told the front desk girl that we would put the parking on a different card at check out, she nodded and said yes perfectly fine! Then the morning of check out received the bill slipped under the door before check out all charged to the card I ask specially it not to be. So bad communication on their part.

Cons: Main lobby was noisy and crowded and hard to find quiet area to sit / talk and have a drink. Very congested area.

Cons: Room service was bad. We placed an order and was told 15 mins. 45 mins later, we called and was told it was coming up. But they brought the wrong order. Caked again the right order was brought up. Customer service needs improvement.

Cons: Didn't like addition of a "resort fee" but I never do. At least it was disclosed before booking. The $17 to $22 fee for parking was a surprise and should be disclosed at time of booking.That said, we loved The Davenport.

Cons: The soap dispenser was disgusting! It was one of those that’s built into the counter. It was gold and the soap was decomposing the inside of the dispenser or something. Every time I would pump the soap brown goo would come out with bits of brown chunks in it. I ended up having to use the body wash that was mounted to the shower every time I needed to wash my hands. Also the water was scalding hot. Even while turned as far cold as it would go only ever got warm, never cool.

Cons: The meal we had at the safari room was not that good. Disappointing since its not cheap to eat their, expected better from the Davenport.

Cons: It was our bad luck to be traveling to the Spokane area during Hoopfest and CDA Ironman weekend, when we had no interest in Hoopfest or the Ironman at all. We, of course, had to pay a ridiculous room rate for the weekend because of it. Upon arriving, we found that there is a rather tacky bar in the hotel parking lot - not exactly the quiet location we were hoping for. I was thrilled to find our room was directly overlooking the bar as well. The drunk people smoking and yelling in he parking lot at midnight and later was a true bonus. We arrived late to check in, and found a rather large wet area on the carpet at the end of the bed. When I called the front desk to report it, I was told that because of the hour there wasn't anything that could be done. Ok, that's understandable, but it wasn't addressed the following day either. So we had lovely, soggy carpet all weekend. The pool is just above the size of a king sized bed, and was pretty cloudy and dirty. My daughter will swim all day to the exclusion of anything else, so I was lucky enough to get to swim in said dirty pool three separate times over the weekend. Two of those times I had to call and ask for towels to be brought in because there were none available and the towel bin was overflowing. Overall it was a lackluster visit at best. The hotel is grossly overpriced and the location is not ideal. I will almost certainly choose another hotel when we return to Spokane.
