Excellent 9.2
Pros: It was such an amazing experience ... We had a great experience. We've been invited to a music night organized in the BnB, we received a lot of good tips on how to visit Chicago. Every breakfast was such a great moment: great food, great people (Mel over all) -- best experience in a BnB ever
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was much more and personal than I expected. I am a vegetarian and Mel made sure to accommodate my palate. The house was beautifully decorated, with items from the “Bronzeville” history and jazz, different masks and antiques. Mel sat with my friend and I and we talked for hours. My friend and I felt very comfortable and safe in the house and in the neighborhood. Jimmy, the housekeeper, was friendly and welcoming as well. He even went outside during a heavy rain and clear any debris from the gutters to help reduce flooding.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The place is just great. Innkeeper Mell and his son Jimmy are wonderful people and they made us feel ar home. Mell prepares the breakfast himself and he is just wonderful. Place is full of antiquities, posters, nice music.
Cons: It is sad to hear that Place will be closed after August.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: American Style cooked with Muesli etc
Good 6.7
Pros: Friendly hosts!
Cons: We had to pay for all three nights the day we reserved them. There was no exception at all for emergencies. After we stayed at this place for one night we had to return because our child was in the hospital. I probably would not stay here again because there’s no exception for emergencies.
Good 6.7
Pros: Close to the L train.
Cons: Shared bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing staff, lots of history and information about the city in the room, and very welcoming and homey feel to the property. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Authentic place, out of the ordinary. Friendly and helpfull staff.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Mell the owner is very personable and knowledgeable about Chicago. The property has a ton of charm and a lot of history as well. I would stay here again even though it’s farther away from the city center than I would normally like to be. Uber and Lyft made it super easy! Breakfast was awesome, like being at Mom’s!
Cons: It’s a little farther to travel to central areas but worth it. The reasonable cost of the room makes up for what we spent on travel.

Okay 5.0
Cons: We did Not like that we got charge $38 for parking ok we paid that, But went out to the night club and when we comeback it was a sign saying that full parking!!! No way we paid for it and get sent a cross the street.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: No microwave or fridge
Poor 1.0
Pros: Location
Cons: The air went out twice and they had to replace my toilet value.... ask me if I wanted another room at 2am when I came back. Of course not it’s already late! In the morning I did talk with hotel management and they did comp the room which was great! I always stay there n this was the 1st time it’s ever happened!
Okay 5.0
Pros: I love that they upgrade the room .
Cons: I paid for parking for two nights and had hard time getting in every time I left. The last night I stayed I had to park somewhere else and walk to the hotel.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice and clean, rooms were nice, parking is connected and pretty cheap at 38$ a day for the location. Over all very pleased with the hotel. Everyone was friendly and a nice little shop on first floor to get coffee and food.
Cons: On the edge of getting into the bad side of town, and fridge hardly worked at all, other than those 2 things, a great stay.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room was a good size and bed was very comfortable. Liked the bathroom being tucked into the corner, accessible but not in the way at all.
Cons: Carpet could have been cleaned. There was a ketchup spot under the desk (I didn’t have any) that was there prior to me and seemed like it needed a vacuuming.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The front desk lady was AMAZING.
Cons: Bigger shower
Good 7.4
Cons: Toilet was broken upon checkin. Repairman was quick to fix it though which was excellent. It was expensive, but that was due to an event going on, which was understandable.
Okay 4.5
Pros: Not much.
Cons: They didn't have our room ready until 9 pm at night. Terrible!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: I liked so much the staff there. Beginning with the management of sam
Cons: Actually the hotel is far from the activities and there is not enough public transportation from there to the main parts of the city except line 3. This is something to work about. In the breakfast buffet there is no eggs (fresh omelet) and when you ask it's take a lot of time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great service, very clean and comfy room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everyone from the door man to the front desk staff were very friendly. We received exceptional service.
Excellent 9.7
Cons: I loved it
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Got a great price for an amazing room. Good on premise restaurant. Easy access just off freeway, adjacent parking (pricey).
Cons: Parking should be free or subsidized for hotel guests.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was clean and well appointed; staff were friendly; fitness center was phenomenal
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: The price was the cheapest we could find
Cons: Everything was wrong the do not disturb sign got taken off somehow and we were still in the room when they tried to clean it and the beds were too soft and caved in. The pool wasn't fun or relaxing at all and there was no hot tub. It was our honeymoon and they didn't even say congrats when we told Them that at check in. The ice machine was broken and when we asked for an extra sheet we had to call three times and it took an hour to get one. Also there needs to be a continental breakfast or at least some fruit we can grab instead of waiting in a stupid long line just to buy an apple or water. We hated it there.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Fast valet , nice accommodation, not a bad location.
Cons: Expensive parking.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Good hotel from a dependable chain, with convenient deli and ATM inside, direct access to the convention center next door, generally helpful staff. My room was not stylish but it was spotless, comfortable and larger than I expected. Location was fine, easy to get a taxi. I did not try the restaurants or deal with parking.
Cons: The hot water in my room was not dependable. The lobby of the hotel had an overpowering strong cologne smell - it was like they were going for a 'signature scent' of 'too much Axe.'
Good 6.2
Pros: clean,close,pleasant staff
Cons: you need- 2 x bars, 2 x rest, 2 x taxis
Good 6.6
Pros: -Handsome room, especially the bathroom. -Very good bed and linens -Very quiet room and surroundings -Complimentary Wifi
Cons: - Not much nearby: at least a mile to train stop, pharmacy, coffee shops, bars restaurants, and shops. -Concierge was pretty clueless about what was cool or desirable in the greater Chicago area. - No complimentary breakfast
Good 7.3
Pros: Close to Convention center
Cons: My room was next door to the laundry room-constant rumbling of the washing vibrating the wall AND the TV in the laundry room was always on high - ugh

Excellent 9.0
Pros: valet parking was good the food that we ordered was overpriced for a small amount be comfortable room excellent
Cons: food ordered was overpriced
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was so clean and maintained
Cons: You are forced to have a ballet
Okay 5.0
Cons: I had to request room service and was automatically charged for wifi without my permission.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Close to hospital
Cons: Pay for wifi
Good 7.0
Cons: No eating choices
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Came to Chicago for knee replacement. Very convenient to stay by the doctor's office and Rush.
Cons: There is not much natural light throughout the building, so it is really dark.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Room was clean, bed was reasonably comfortable and Giant TV.
Cons: Hotel itself just seemed kind of old & in need of some refurbishing. For the price, I was expecting something a little nicer. I was stranded in Chicago overnight due to weather and had nothing with me. All the front desk could give me was a couple packets of toothpaste to brush my teeth with my finger.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The young woman who checked us in was excellent! She walked us through the Thanksgiving Holiday protocol and our options. My wife particularly liked the bed...she had two great nights of sleep!
Good 7.1
Pros: The location is excellent, being so close to the hospital complex nearby. The restaurant was wonderful, and the morning breakfast room service was on time.
Cons: The toilet was poorly functioning. The TV remote "worked" but did not actually control my TV. Also many channels were just static. The final nail in the coffin was the mandatory valet, which costs $43/night. That was horrific.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very Comfortable, Clean, and great staff
Cons: I stayed there a week and breakfast was terrible also I had to keep asking for someone to bring me towels and to take the garbage
Okay 5.0
Pros: Good breakfast, comfortable bed, friendly staff.
Cons: There was a very loud ventilation noise on my floor that I could hear from my room, which was next to the elevators on the last floor.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location was good in terms of restaurants and shops.
Cons: Parking was expensive and the directions a bit confusing.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I love the location
Cons: The beds weren’t that comfortable nor was I told the hotel had pets
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean friendly staff
Cons: Parking is limited and expensive
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Close to University of Chicago
Cons: Change to credit card without discussing, fee for possible room expenses...there were none and credits took days to get listed on card
Excellent 10.0
Pros: 1. Great location - close to the Lake shore, close to U Chicago, close to the Bus to downtown, surrounded by many restaurants and a Whole Foods Store 2. Very clean and comfortable everywhere 3. I found the computers and printer in the lobby extremely useful 4. The fitness room is great, all the machines are functional and clean 5. The breakfast allures you to get up and start your day with a well-fueled body 6. The front desk and valets are very friendly
Cons: It would be more convenient to be able to park and access our car without having to use a valet.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Booed for double beds three months ago, by the time check in, it was not available but king bed. Bit inconvenient and disappointed.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: nice sitting area with sofa in the room, made it quite comfortable for my extended stay
Cons: some days they had powdered eggs at breakfast; aside from that, the included breakfast was excellent!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Outstanding staff, great location for University of Chicago events
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Very nice staff. Our room was ready early and they let us check in. Great location close to everything in Hyde Park.
Good 7.1
Pros: The location.
Cons: Parking was not good, valet parking was high and had to wait every time I return to hotel. It was like the valet person was not around, bad service when you are paying a high fee.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: New, modern, super clean...great location for visiting a Uchicago student--
Cons: While I loved the design of the room, the quality of construction felt a slightly lacking, at least for the price I paid per night.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Breakfast was not as described. Front desk staff were more attentive to each other than to guests. Valet completely ignored us. Waited for 10 minutes in the cold to be able to park.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great history to the building and knowledgeable staff. Welcomed as if we were family. Very accommodating.
Cons: Direction on where parking lot was located should be included. We passed by it several times before parking.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Oh my! Where do I start? We graciously fretted at the north side gate by Kevin and young master Bentley. K Bentley took my friend’s bag and led the way up the historical stairs to our two bedroom suite. After settling in we walked to a Chinese restaurant two blocks away and felt very safe. We both slept very well and enjoyed the shower in the ball & claw bathtub. Bentley brought us coffee in the morning before heading to off to school. The 1st course was toasted cinnamon bread with warm syrup, fresh fruit and mango drink or coffee. Kevin then served scrambled eggs, hash browns and three thick pieces of perfectly prepared bacon. The restaurant was open only to guests for breakfast so we had the place to ourselves. We were so so full we will forget lunch. We will be back Dave, Kevin and Bentley! We will bring more friends and family too. Your B&B is a “MUST STAY AT” site. Feels like home.
Cons: Not one thing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great service. Spacious suite. Delicious breakfast made to order. Complimentary ride to McCormick Place for my conference.
Good 7.5
Pros: Vey nice and helpful owners and staff.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner was very nice. The rooms were clean and very elegant decor!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Over all it was a GREAT STAY staff was Great ,very clean ,price was great . I will be coming back.
Cons: The view was the parking lot.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was close form the metro and downtown
Cons: The internet wasn’t good and also they cold have more access for water
Okay 4.0
Pros: Close to town
Cons: Dirty towels under the sink, the shower door was extremely hard to maneuver, there was no maid service so we had to continue to get clean towels and our room was not cleaned during our stay, the towels were hand towels so they were small for drying the body, and it was very loud in the room with the other guests around and above us. I ordered my room with a queen bed on booking.com and the room was canceled before I showed up on its own, so when I got there all the queens were gone and I had to get a full.
Good 6.0
Pros: The staff was wonderful- very nice and we were able to store our luggage even after we checked out when we wanted to grab lunch. Everything was clean and I think they had just updated the bathrooms, so those looked nice too (The shower was HUGE!)
Cons: Two things: First, the bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. I saw this in reviews but was reaffirmed of it. The pillows felt like they were stuffed with fabric and the mattress was only okay for the price we paid for a queen bed. I woke up with an awful headache because of it. Secondly, the art on the wall was very cool but other parts of the room were not aesthetically pleasing (crooked TV, odd location of lights on the ceiling). Pretty good overall for a city hotel.
Good 7.0
Pros: Better than the big chains. This hotel does not jack up price during peak season. A great alternative.
Cons: M
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I was not aware that breakfast was available
Cons: No shampoo.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Location was great and we felt very safe. There was a public parking lot right next door that was only $27 dollars for The Whole weekend.
Cons: The floor in our room was not very clean. Lots of crumb stuff or something when walking around barefoot.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The rooms are tiny! The beds are extremely uncomfortable. The room wasn’t very clean. the staff was awful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location close to everything downtown, very clean modern rooms, everyone on the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I will definitely stay here again in the near future!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff. On street 24 hour free parking.
Cons: The bed. Pretty uncomfortable. We slept upside down to avoid feeling like our feet were higher than our heads.

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Black owned
Cons: My remote does not work , our tub was dirty. There was old food from the previous person in the refrigerator 🤮 Your desk guy on noc shift ( black guy)act as if he dislikes his job that or he was totally frustrated that he had to check me in at almost 2am
Good 6.0
Pros: Free parking
Cons: Staff treats guest like children instead of adult. Can't do this, where you going. Don't treat all guest for the bad few. People are on vacation and will have visitors.
Poor 1.0
Pros: I was locked out me room I want my money back
Cons: Them giving me a room that the key wook
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location and free parking.
Cons: WiFi slow
Poor 1.0
Cons: The room was not clean someone’s food was left in the refrigerator 🙄
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Location was great, staff is friendly
Cons: The bathroom fan/vent was on during our entire stay. Even with the door closed, it was still made it difficult to sleep
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I enjoyed in the shower, very power full. The mattress and pilow comfortable, I love the way they put the lights in the room. Supper clean , enough parking lot for free.
Cons: There was noises out side the hotel in the street.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was my 3rd stay at South Loop. It’s within walking distance to a McCormick Place and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, offering up travel and food suggestions as well as a friendly attitude.
Cons: If i have to pick one i guess it’s that their free parking does fill up late in the day. If you plan on using your own vehicle for travel while visiting you run the risk of not finding an overnight parking spot at the hotel.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: This was a great value. By far the cheapest hotel I could find in Chicago (that didn’t seem murdery) and it was even better than expected! Spacious, clean rooms and a nice staff were there to greet us when we arrived. This was the perfect place to come back to after a long day!
Cons: The location was the only thing close to a downfall. Just not the most scenic surroundings. I LOVED being this close to Chinatown though. Would gladly Stay here again.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Big soaker tub was a pleasant surprise! Great location and parking.
Cons: Other guests were fairly loud but it didn't last long into the night.
Good 6.5
Pros: It is an inexpensive hotel within walking distance of the Expo Center but you wouldn't want to walk there without protection. Rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable
Cons: The area is really ugly and dilapidated. There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance and the small cafe in the Hotel is inadequate for anything other than breakfast. Don't plan on doing much else besides sleeping at this place.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Was clean. Provided what I needed. Decent price for downtown Chicago area.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Rooms nice enough and it passed my bed bug check too!
Cons: The restaurant is closed for renovation, the cafe is closed Monday for breakfast. No tea at all in the hotel room or in fact anywhere in the hotel. Staff tried to help, but they were closed or out of everyone I needed.
Okay 4.8
Pros: the room was nice
Cons: the accomadations, the parking the restaurants, the lobby. the staff was not very accomadating, will not be staying here againt
Good 7.4
Pros: Rooms were huge. Not one, but two bars attached to the hotel. Staff was quite friendly. Security guard posted in lobby. Complimentary parking offered with room.
Cons: Location is not very good. Looks nicer online than it actually is. Not thoroughly clean.
Good 6.0
Pros: Free parking
Cons: Noise
Good 7.4
Pros: Free parking, huge bathtub, large room.
Cons: No breakfast, had a bathroom light not working.
Okay 4.0
Cons: We stayed for 5 days while the Nation Art Education Association conference was underway at the McCormick Center. We chose this hotel because it appeared to be a very short cab ride to the convention. The way the roads are (and due to the size of the convention center), it cost the same to get to the convention as it did to go all the way north into downtown. Even though the convention center is only about 1 mile away, we didn't feel safe walking the distance (it is creepily "warehousey" in this area). The worst issue was that every day we were there, we were unable to have a hot shower. The front desk claimed that it was due to the volume of guests showering at the same time, however we tried different times of the day to no avail. If you are looking for an affordable option with easy access to McCormick, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Very clean. Staff was very efficient. Room recently remodeled - very nice. Free parking was a nice perk. Located close to McCormick Place where I attended an event.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was very clean and the tub was very deep. The bed was comfortable. Room service was prompt, the front desk agents we're great. I can definitely say that this facility is appropriate for a business trip, or if you are traveling alone. It wasn't a bad stay, it just wasnt what i expected i guess. But everyone was helpful and nothing went wrong.
Cons: The room was smaller than i expected. The lobby area and first floor are very nice, while the rooms are plain and need a few updates. The food in the cafe is good but is overprice for the portion size you receive. There are no microwaves in the room which is a big inconvenience. Aside from the tub i wouldn't characterize it as romantic. And by the microwave bring on the first floor i wouldn't say it was good for extended stay. The tub had a few rust spots also.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The price, free parking and proximity to convention center are the benefits of staying there.
Cons: The elevators were very slow and over the 4th floor jerked and made noises above the 4th floor. Neither the gift shop, cafe or restaurant were open in the morning at least before 9:00 when I left.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Friendly people. Got there very early and they put me in a room without a problem. Never happened to me before.
Good 7.4
Pros: The hotel was close to the IIT conference.
Cons: The El was across the street, and loud.
Good 6.0
Pros: Room was clean for the most part but we only stayed 1 night so I cannot evaluate housekeeping, etc.
Cons: Noise level -- could hear screaming baby and couple fighting at 2:00 a.m. In addition, the television didn't work.
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: It is easy to get out of town from that location if you are heading south. The place is, perhaps, a half a step up from a poorly run motel.
Cons: Some staff were a bit surly. Very slow elevators. Hallways and room smelled like a poorly working air conditioner. Limited on-site dining.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I booked my hotel a week in advance and when I got to my hotel, OUT OF STATE, keep in mind, nothing was booked. They had no problem withdrawing the money, but never booked my hotel. I ended up having to book another room and calling my bank to void the previous transaction because the customer service staff were so rude and completely incompetent. I'll never use kayak again. Ever.
Good 7.3
Pros: Nice building & lobby. 24 hour business center with free coffee. Large rooms. Close to McCormick (but not much of anything else.)
Cons: The restaurant is not managed by the hotel and it's pretty bad. Irregular hours, extremely uneven and sometimes really bad food, terrible training of staff. Maybe the worst hotel restaurant I've been to. Incompetently managed. The bar is much better, and you can get a very good hamburger there. There's a pizza joint within walking distance, otherwise you cab it for food.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Customer service.

Good 7.0
Pros: I love love the location. it is accessible to everywhere like train, bus, attractions, convenience stores, variety of restaurants, banks, shopping malls, busy streets to keep you entertained, secured area, also great night life.
Cons: The wi-fi is not working at all in the rooms. one has to stay at the hallway to access wi-fi and its so frustrating. Although the staff said they tried all they could to fix it but the problem is from the nature of the ancient building. But they are happy to help the best they can. I also hate the common room, its not as spacious and decorative as on pix so we could not take pictures as we planned. also kitchen is too small considering the number of guests.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Really nice place to stay while exploring Chicago. Its close to the city center (30m walk) as well as to the blue line train station (3m walk). Stuff was extremely nice.
Cons: I had a room/bed next to the main street and it was quite noisy
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The best thing about this place was the people I met.
Cons: The bed was in disrepair. To be fair, I did not point this out to the staff and just put up with it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the helpful staff
Cons: abandoned cloths in the room

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything....

Okay 5.0
Pros: The staff was helpful everything was clean and that's about it
Cons: The room didn't look like the one they show and there wasn't no parking spot everything was too crowded oh and it only had two or three things to exercise
Okay 4.0
Cons: wifi doesn’t work, asked for refill on toilet paper, never got any- key deactivated every night had to get it fixed each time
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: I was walked in on by staff member Then a maid was knocking on the door 2 or 3 times, theses things are unacceptable
Good 7.0
Pros: Great location 15-20 mins away from all major Chicago attractions
Cons: Rooms outdated, tv didn't work and staff never showed to fix it , breakfast was out or low by 830 (served until 9) staff either super helpful to refill or seemed annoyed.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The staff was very polite and courteous.
Cons: The front desk worker was not at the front desk for the majority of the time we were there. There was always a sign on the door saying when they would return. The parking was horrible. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathtub faucet leaked. There was no access to HDMI on the television. The air conditioner did not blow well.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable, affordable, free breakfast, nice staff
Cons: Curtains and Pillows smelled like smoke. No bathroom rug Bring your own towels, sheet and pillow covers
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff was excellent across the board. From check-in to breakfast, everyone we interacted with was extremely courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate, and was well-stocked even though we arrived toward the end.
Cons: Wi-Fi was not functional during our stay. Typically a minor inconvenience, but I happened to really need it on this trip. Parking was also a nightmare - there seemed to not be enough spaces for the number of rooms.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: What didn't I like about it. From the moment I walked into the front office I was greeted with a warm welcome. Five stars all across the broad.
Good 7.4
Cons: Budget level not quite budget price
Excellent 8.8
Pros: I really enjoyed the hospitality. All of the staff here are wonderful. I was given a restaurant list upon check in & offered a ride in the shuttle to & from my ventures. Going to eat and running errands. The place is newly remodeled & looks great! Awesome complimentary breakfast. Fridge & microwave in the room. I was impressed. Its a good bang for ur buck. I would stay here again!

Excellent 9.4
Pros: This Hotel has one of the best views of the city from China Town. It is also located right next to the China Town Center. Best value for your money (Table top fridges could have made the queen rooms more appealing) with the upgraded furniture. I got a great deal, judging by the fact that i relocated to another hotel Downtown which ended up being lile mocing from grace to grass.
Okay 5.7
Pros: location not bad
Cons: they require a cash deposit room smells bad

Excellent 8.0
Pros: When we checked in they gave us a room and upon entrance we noticed it had not been cleaned. They upgraded our room. It was so much better! Pool was wonderful! Hate that parking was not included. Real fast was not with the expensive price. Vending on each floor, customer service was helpful and front desk were very pleasant. Felt safe using your card to even get the elevator.
Cons: Parking not included and expensive breakfast and not a lot of options. Small lot to get into hotel.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds
Cons: Limited parking, had to use adjoining lot which was $24 a night
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Beds okay. Location good for Union Station.
Cons: Ice machine broken. Vending machines empty. Clerk couldn't find reservation. Charged us extra at check-in.
Good 7.0
Pros: It is close to public transportation.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: There is a small outdoor pool. Very quiet. Hard to find outdoor pool in Chicago!! Pool very clean. View not the best but totally worth it to sit in the sun!!
Cons: Older hotel but well kept.

Pros: Location
Cons: Should not be advertising as a suite
Okay 4.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Service, cleanliness of room carpet was dirty Bedspread was totn TV channels went in and out The 2nd room we booked tv did not work and could not get anyone to come fix it
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Walking distance from the metro. Restaurants and shops close. Perfect location to visit downtown and attractions. Customer service was so nice to give us room early since it was available. Love our first trip to Chicago.
Cons: The alley got noisy 1 night.
Okay 5.0
Pros: I liked that it was close to the train station. The air conditioner worked well.
Cons: There was hair on the sink we had to clean. The remote for the tv was broken. There were dirty socks and towels on the closet’s ledge. No hangers. The phone in the room didn’t work. We were on the second floor facing an alley with lots of garbage.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Great location. Staff was friendly. Affordable
Cons: The carpet is very dirty. And smells bad. The ceiling was broken and parts of the paper were hanging off.
Okay 5.7
Pros: none
Cons: staff has no service mind. On the last day of stay my flight is on late evening . We kept our luggage at front office. When we return to pick up our luggage and asked for using rest room but she refused even if I informed she that we just check out this morning. She ignore our require for using rest room that is very bad impression.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Horrible customer service! Very rude! There is no hotel parking so you'll need to find and pay for street parking or parking structure...Good luck! Never staying there again!
Good 6.5
Pros: Close to train.
Cons: No hot water, be warned.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Low cost, minimal extras.
Good 6.0
Pros: This place is a bit rundown and shabby, but if you just need a place to sleep after a long day, where you plan on getting up and out early the next - it's tolerable. Cheapest place I could find on a busy weekend. Close to the red line so you can travel thoughout the city without your car.
Cons: No parking, no elevator, questionable cleanliness. Entire place needs fumigated cleaned, modernized and updated.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Rundown Dirty Seedy No elevator Little to no hot water or water pressure No ice Scary location Discourteous staff Charge way too much for zero amenities
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: It was in Chinatown.
Cons: The place was a dump. Our bathroom didn't have a doorknob, it had a plastic cup jammed into where the doorknob once was.
