Karon hotels near Karon Beach

Cons: There could have been more chairs by the pools because it was hit or miss if you were going to get a chair to lay or sit in.

Cons: Smoke free (I'm a smoker). The hotel is built on a hill so the way to the room was a bit confusing, but the view was worth climbing the stairs

Cons: down side is the amount of stairs however there are elevators for use to upper rooms. Make sure you include breakfast in you initial booking or they charge 321B a person each morning and they won't let you upgrade either once you check in.

Cons: Very dated looking building. Room amenities were a bit lacking (e.g. the rest of Thailand seems to have bidet toilets, but not here). Restaurants for dinner were nice, with good food, but quite overpriced. Hilton was very disappointing for booking an airport transfer. I received information by email only the day before my arrival. I had requested the transfer booking over a month earlier. The email stated the booking office for airport transfers closed in 10 minutes! Not very useful when travelling... A follow up email the morning of arrival indicated it was too late to book a transfer "according to their policy", even though booking a return airport transfer took 5 minutes the day of, with no advanced notice required.

Cons: A bit far from the beach. Next time I'll probably book something closer to the beach.

Cons: The pools were too crowded and on some days we could not get chairs at any of the pools.

Cons: Location too bad - you will have to pay taxi ride to go to any place, morning buffet had limited options - no rotation in the food items - we stayed 7 days and had the same thing all 7 days, restaurants were average, rooms were average, staff not very courteous and had pretty average customer service skills, room cleaning had to asked for,

Cons: Pool water was too warm, not refreshing at all. Hotel is showing it age as it's looking a bit tired. Could hear noise from other rooms and hallway. Quiet mode on the air conditioning would be good.

Cons: Weird excuse for a king sized bed. Two smaller beds pushed together and covered by a sheet that didn't fit. Beds would often drift apart. Had to sleep horizontally to be comfortable.
