Pros: Fabulous location 2 minute walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Dolby Theatre. Everything you need is right nearby. Room was clean and perfect for us, given the price. Kitchenette and continental breakfast (included) was a bonus.

Cons: Not much to complain about except the parking fees. Those seemed excessive. Friends thatcame for drinks and dinner paid $50 for parking just as we did for the overnight.

Cons: I booked and paid for a Deluxe King Room with view of Hollywood sign. I received a room near the elevators with a constant machine and elevator running noise. I asked to be moved and was told someone would be right up and after 10 minutes I grew tired of waiting and went down to the front desk. This was already 11PM. I was taken to a new room that had an adjoining door with a party going on in the adjacent room. I asked to be moved AGAIN, eventually to a room with queen bed. The beds were too soft for my taste. There was a curly hair on the soap dish in the shower. I will never stay there again.

Pros: As soon as we stepped out of the car we were treated with such surprising care. The man at valet, Ever (that's his name- EVER, how cute is that?) was so nice that my fiancée and I looked at each other and just shook our heads and laughed. We weren't used to customer service like this. We went to check in early, 1pm, and Melanie at the front desk was able to upgrade us to a corner suite! The entire staff was so professional but without being too stuffy. The hotel was beyond our expectations.
Cons: Not a big deal but there was one little Q-tip outside our room for our stay. We kind of joked that they gave us the Q-tip suite. We also couldn't find coffee in the morning inside the hotel. We had our coffee maker in the room but needed more and didn't want to pay $15 for a pot of coffee at the restaurant.

Pros: The staff was amazing!! So helpful! The rooms were very comfortable!! The beds were great!! We had a room with a view, and it was fantastic.
Cons: The one big thing that I didn't like was, that there was no fridge in the room. We asked for one and got one for a small charge. The other only thing I didn't like was, that there was no microwave in the room.

Pros: Hotel was beautiful! Staff was friendly and attentive. Location was fantastic! Our room had a phenomenal view of the Hollywood sign. Pool was gorgeous. All in all, it was the best experience we could have hoped for on our first trip to Tinseltown.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, and helpful when I checked in. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The mini-bar key didn't work, and it would've been nice to have a fridge to keep some drinks in the fridge, but I didn't inquire with the staff, and I assume they would've rectified that for me if I had. Nice and central, so traveling for business doesn't mean limited options for food and amenities.

Pros: I lived the view, the room size, free toiletries, housekeeping, and the location. The parking was also a great bonus.
Cons: The rooms only come with a fridge if you pay for one and there are very limited microwaves, so my suggestion is don’t waste your time bringing a doggy bag back. That’s my only complaint. Also, I booked through hotels.com to get my points and they did not disclose that there is an additional hold on your card for the room FYI.

Pros: The staff and service personnel were outstanding and friendly. All facilities and the room were clean and well appointed, like-new furnishings everywhere. Management handled all my needs with courtesy and respect. I highly recommend this establishment to others looking for a home away from home, and a happy atmosphere. I have stayed in may places in West Hollywood and near the strip, this is the best value for the money.
Cons: Breakfast took a little too long to prepare. People on the move would not be able to wait for the service, although the food was excellent.

Pros: i liked the look of the rooms. They were nicely decorated. The size of the pool was great - lots of room for everyone. The location was very convenient to a Metro and to the touristy area.
Cons: The pool area was a little confusing. It was hard to tell which chairs were taken. The chairs by the shallow end of the pool were occupied by people who didnt seem to want to get wet which was frustrating. The hotel room felt like a store. Too many items for sale. This also took up precious space for personal items.

Pros: The hotel is tired. It has two elevators that hold ten passengers. One of the elevators was often out of order. Sometimes there were guests stuck in the elevator. There was no way to use the stairs so wait times to get to our room were long. Our room was small. The TV was not working well. Mediocre at best.

Cons: The service was horrible! The bartenders and waitstaff in 3 different venues within the hotel were awful! Rude, not attentive at all, for a place that automatically adds 18% gratuity on top of the additional tip, shame on them for having bad staff at such a iconic and beautiful hotel. This literally ruined the ambience and enjoyment of my stay.

Cons: - The first room I stayed in was small, had a view of nothing but the rooftop A/C units, and had incredibly noisy ventilation system. The very polite front desk staff moved me to a different (and much nicer) room upon request - $10 bottles of water in the room. Come on guys, a complimentary bottle of water won't kill the margins. - 'Hotel-branded' flip flops for sale at $20 instead of the inexpensive complimentary slippers that are normally available at hotels of this level

Cons: Everything. The minute we get there we are ignored for a good 15min while the front desk flirted with a girl in the lobby. We are finally helped, but with attitude from the minute I opened my mouth to check in. Then we were told I had to have a passport to check in. I provided my out of state drivers license and was told that still wasn't enough. They had to have an itinerary showing that I planned on leaving. Nothing on the website we used to book advised anything about having to provide a passport and i have stayed at sevreal hostels around the US and never once did they require a passport to stay at their establisment. I even double checked my itinerary details when we left to see if there was any disclaimer. We ended up just cancelling our reservations as long as they didn't charge us. The guy checking us in was rude the entire time and had little to no care if we stayed. Never again.

Pros: Great breakfast, and very clean all around. Super helpful and friendly staff. Lockers in the room for your valuables and a really soft blanket! The beds were pretty good and there were sockets in between each bed with room for about 6 plugs.

Pros: So, to start off, let me say that this is not a hotel. It's a cheap way to share a room with seven other people and have a little base of operations to explore from. The thing that impressed me most was how clean it was. Every time I went anywhere in the hostel, there was someone cleaning something. I felt very comfortable in that. Also, having a lot of internationals around makes for great conversation. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great stay overall!
Cons: The only thing I didn't really enjoy as much (and this really couldn't be avoided) was sharing a room with 7 people. Not that they weren't nice; just the awkwardness of not having much privacy and trying not to make much noise when you come in late or head out early. Other than that, it was great.

Pros: After my first stay, I was hooked and have stayed at the Redbury 2x per year for the past several years...rooms are spacious and the interior design is phenomenal. Kitchen area is perfect for breakfast and light snacking. Redbury is studio style home away from home, love it!

Cons: There were no full-length mirrors! This is a problem for me--and I imagine other not-tall travelers, because I couldn't get close enough the one mirror in the room to apply makeup. The shower leaked and the toilet made weird noises. The hallways did not seem to have any kind of noise absorption--you could very clearly hear everything that every said, even when they weren't being loud. The cleaning staff yelled backhand forth to each other early in the morning right outside my door. There was no way to have tea in the room, and it was outrageous that they charged $4 for tea in the eating area.
