Top Tips for Renting a Cargo Van in Nice

  • The Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) is an excellent choice for Nice Cargo Van Rentals. It provides a unique advantage with its diverse selection of cargo vans, ensuring that you can find the specific van model you desire. Additionally, several van rental companies, including SIXT, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Avis, National Car Rental, and Hertz, are conveniently located at this airport. These companies allow drivers to return their vans to nearby locations without any extra charges.
  • When reserving Nice Cargo Van Rentals, certain documentation is necessary. Firstly, a valid driver's license is required, which must not be expired and should meet the age criteria specified by Nice Cargo Van Rentals (at least 21 years old). Additionally, proof of insurance coverage for the rented cargo van is mandatory. Moreover, you will need a valid credit card in your name as the main renter. The credit card must have enough funds to cover the rental expenses along with any security deposit or fees that may apply.
  • To the north of Nice is the French Alps rise, which presents a mountainous landscape. While the city itself is relatively flat, the surrounding areas are characterized by steep hills and winding roads. If you plan to drive Nice Cargo Van Rentals into the mountainous regions near Nice, it's essential to consider the vehicle's capabilities, especially in terms of power and handling. Some mountain roads may be narrow and steep, thus requiring careful navigation.
  • It is crucial to adhere to the child passenger safety guidelines when utilizing Nice Cargo Van Rentals with kids. For example, any youngster under the age of 12 must be appropriately restrained in a child safety device in the cargo van's backseat. All children under the age of 12 as well as those under the height of 4'9", must comply with this criterion. Please be aware that when using Nice Cargo Van Rentals, kids aged below 12 aren't allowed to drive in cargo vans lacking double cabins.

Our car was great and dropping off was great. The real issue was in picking up the car. We came from Nice, not from the airport which was the first challenging part. There was not an address on our rental confirmation so we just used google to look up Sixt rental. Google took us to a place inside the airport. We waited there for over 30 minutes and then the worker told us that we had to go to a different place, but didn't really clearly explain where. When we did find the rental place it was very obvious and I think would be really easy to find if you were landing there in the airport, but very frustrating experience.

The car was fine. Clean and in good shape. The pick up experience was a “strong arm” to buy insurance. My credit card covers and CDW issues, but I was forced to sign (a copy of a copy of a copy) a form that I could be on the hook for $50,000.00 (for a Nissan?) if I had an accident. I was completely shot from a long travel day, so I agreed to the insurance. It took a very long time to complete the process and it was not very satisfying. I assumed Europcar was a major player, which is why I chose them. I’ll not make that mistake again. Read the reviews!!!!

I’ll see if this lets me choose my words I ordered a small BMW I was changed to a Peugeot 3008 when I arrived at the counter which was in another terminal. The only car they had left was a 5008 a Peugeot. This is a three seater SUV and I am one person. I called after a couple days asking for a smaller car. I only could speak to the main office..There is no way of contacting the airport directly. I told them to check if there would be a small car available. They said they would call back and they never did. Unfortunately, after that, I had to park in otherparking garages. This car is not made to park in French garages. I scraped the side. I moved onto another location and had to park in another garage where I scraped the side again. I was so paranoid about putting this car in garages that it ruined my trip.. When I returned the car, even the man checking me in said yeah this car is not made to be parked in French garages. Before I returned the car I askedif someone would come in remove the car for me. I didn’t even wanna drive it and get out of the parking spaces again. I don’t think I will neverrent from you guys again without being assured that I’ll get the card that I ordered. Now I have to deal with my credit card company to see if they’ll pay for the repairs they should never have happened. Sign a very unhappy unsatisfied customer

Alamo was horrific. Our plane was delayed due to storms. I had booked the car earlier than our anticipated landing. When I eventually reached Alamo, they said they only hold cars for 2 hours from the planned arrival time. They had let my car go and they had no others. Dispute it with your booking agent. We were left with no car after an exhausting flight. They clearly didn’t like the rental rate and were keen to not let us take the hire car. One we had already paid for. Really rude and unhelpful.

Most companies try to upgrade you if they don’t have the car requested. Avis gives you an inferior car but you pay the same price. My last ex with Avis was supposed to be my last- in Florida after 40 minute wait ( watching customers who came in later flight get cars) I was given a car that hadn’t been cleaned or checked it. When I returned you tried to charge me for damage from that previous client.. really sloppy

Received a car with no working AC in the middle of the summer in France. It was awful. I did bring it to their attention upon pulling out of the rental parking garage and I was told to just give it time to kick in. Will 2 hours away and still no AC. Worst experience

Price was good for the 12-day rental. It was exhausting at the time of car pickup, the lady kept trying to upsell me on a bigger car, more insurance coverage. What could take 10 minutes for signing the rental agreement, took over 30 minutes. Everything else was amazing.

This location was not at the airport. No one answered the phone. When we got to the address, nobody was there. Doors were closed lights off. We heard from them an hour later and had to find another car the same day with another company and ended up spending more money. I would not recommend this at all, and I would not list this as being located at the airport.

When we reached priceless office to get the rental car . They were not available there . Even reception lady called them up so many times and they didn’t answer the phone calls or reply or back . So we end up not getting any car and we used to public transportation in our whole trip . I want my refund

The lady doing the check in and out was very polite and courteous and tried to help us. For some reason when I went to pick the car she told me her colleague had said that I had cancelled tje reservation which I hadn't and not received any email confirmation of this. Luckily she made a new one and the car was still available. Also on kayak it said booking for 5 people car but the priceless booking said 2 person so i had to clarify that. Car was good and the lady was helpful.
