Pros: Clean, comfy, great location, modern
Cons: Noise from the club next door was intrusive, but hotel did provide ear plugs. Lounge still under construction. One cup of coffee provided from lounge which doesn’t open until 7

Pros: The bluebird was very cozy and felt like an authentic way to stay in Portland! Very close to almost everywhere we wanted to go. Great food all around and a fantastic atmosphere!
Cons: Nothing!
Excellent10.0
Pros: The front porch has a swing. The kitchen has a breakfast nook. Dining room is lovely with the original built in hutch. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: great location, nice staff, newly renovated, clean.
Cons: the bathroom is a little dated.
Excellent8.2
Pros: Clean, comfortable room, excellent desk service, location was where I needed it to be... not a 4 star hotel, but it didn't need to be. Perfect.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Great location. Free WiFi. No frills. Minimal room, but comfortable beds with good service and a clean atmosphere.
Cons: It's an older motel, so it definitely has a run-down feel. For my trip (visiting Portland with a friend to go enjoy the city, nightlife, etc) this was perfect. It's confusing to find parking (small lot) and to get around the motel.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Vintage motel in great location with friendly staff. Don't expect fancy little soaps, room service or marble countertops. Lots of fun places nearby, good bus and bike connections.
Good7.1
Pros: Great location, close to downtown. Staff was friendly, rooms appeared clean.
Cons: A little noisy at night. The room smelled heavily of perfumed air freshener. The bathroom had what appeared to be fruit flies.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Staff is friendly
Cons: Beds are mediocre. Sheets and mattress both
Good6.5
Pros: The best part about it is the location, which is right in the heart of downtown Portland. Clean enough, though not anything fancy. Seemingly nice staff.
Cons: Noisy. A little sketchy. Didn't feel 100% safe there.
Excellent9.7
Pros: The staff was very accommodating, they allowed us to check in a few hours before check in time so that we could freshen up and explore the city! The location of this motel was great, we could have walked to the convention center (where we attended comic con, the reason for our visit), and most uber rides downtown were around 7-10 dollars! There were also a few decent restaurants within walking distance! I definitely recommend breakfast and J and M.
Cons: While the actual location of the hotel was great, it did get a bit noisy at night, with or without open windows.
Excellent9.3
Pros: The location was extremely convenient for going across the river (by bus or car) to the Pearl, Nob Hill and Downtown districts. Also, the immediate vicinity was good, as the hotel is very near to the Jupiter Hotel and Doug Fir Lounge and Restaurant, which has good breakfasts and a nice nighttime bar. The rooms were clean and functional - and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I give this hotel my top rating!
Cons: No complaints.
Good7.7
Pros: Renovations have made it reasonably modern Nice bathrooms Good location for what I needed.
Cons: Noise is a bit of an issue, as the walls transmit sound easily and it's adjacent to two reasonably busy roads.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, excellent value.
Cons: Bed was a little lumpy, and the bathroom was a little dirty. Manageable if you’re not too picky.
Excellent8.0
The building is older and our bathroom was so hot and not ventilated at all (stayed humid and wet). The staff was super sweet and the location is good for a 20-30 minute walk to most anything downtown.

Pros: Very cool vibe

Pros: Clean and comfortable. A must if seeing a show at the Doug fir
Excellent8.0
Pros: The bed, location, Doug fir next door.
Cons: Lack of fridge. The carpets are a terrible texture.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Fun hotel close to the action. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent8.5
Pros: I loved being able to walk across the parking lot and have a drink at the bar. The room was very comfortable.
Cons: The remote control for the TV didn't work. An employee tried several other remotes but none worked.
Good7.7
Pros: This location is perfect and the staff was super friendly. The beds were comfy and the room felt clean.
Cons: I just slept terribly here. Blue light fills the room from the hallway at night, it would be great if they could invest in some black out curtains. Heater was so LOUD, neighboring hotel guests were loud, and there really isn't a "chill side" . This is a great hotel for partiers.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Simple but comfortable furnishings, very comfortable bed. No coffee machine in room, or fridge, but free coffee at front desk. Nothing fancy or upscale, but totally fine with cute and unique touches. Nice staff. Really great location! Had a great stay.
Good7.4
Pros: Style, location, views.
Cons: Noise, impractical design elements, check-in process (literally in the middle of an active nightclub).
Excellent10.0
Pros: The rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable. The food in the Doug Fir was delicious for breakfast.
Excellent9.4
Pros: The service was great; the atmosphere was fun; the price was good. Checking out the Doug Fir is a must.
Cons: Rooms were small. It was a little out of the way.
Excellent9.1
Pros: A unique and edgy hotel that always provides a good stay. Location could not be better. Don't come here expecting a quiet night on the weekends, but the energy surrounding this place is part of what gives it character. One of my favorite hotels in Portland.
Cons: Parking can fill up quickly
Excellent8.0
Pros: A chill vibe and location. The staff were super helpful and pleasant. They have wine and water to purchase in the room. Restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. We had some good ramen down the street. They have doors painted with chalkboard paint and chalk to write on them! There's a business center, and small art gallery. Live music and/or band next door. Patios are literally right outside your door, which was super convenient. I'd definitely come back!
Cons: There's only $29.00 valet parking or street parking that has enforcements that start at 8 am. I was able to run down and move my car to the front and pay like $2.00 to park until 10:00 am. I sent my kids into the room before me , and I returned to two pre teen boys asking if they could try on the condoms that are provided as a courtesy in front of my 7yr old. Now I'm fine with that conversation, but I'm still wondering how I'm going to explain that to the bff's mom. The room is super small. It worked fine for the one night, but I would not have stayed here for an extended time with the three kids I had with me on this trip. If you have chill lowkey older or small children you will be fine, but I had two 12 yr old and a 7 yr old boys, and it just wasn't enough space for ALL of thier energy. Overall it was nice!
Good7.1
Pros: Location is perfect if you don’t want to be downtown.
Cons: The rooms don’t have windows that open. So the room smelled stale/moldy.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Funky boutique hotel near the river. Rooms are small but the property is unique and I'm glad we stayed here versus a generic hotel room.
Cons: Small rooms
Good6.0
Pros: Simple, nice looking room. Bed is comfortable and wide. Pillows are perfect and clean sheets.
Cons: TV never worked for us, with only 1 single channel. People yelling and partying almost all night outside of our room, couldn't get much sleep. Bathroom very cramp and small.

Pros: Breakfast was okey. Friendly staff. Cafeteria lady was clean, , attentive to costumers needs.
Cons: Poor WiFi Connection. Assigned a room too far from the elevators Need more than one elevator.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Needed to stay near PDX to catch an early morning flight out. Room was clean, staff courteous and efficient. Needed 5am airport shuttle so they called a cab to take me (hotel paid for; assuming they do this during off hours). Left early so didn't get to sample breakfast. Hotel was quiet when I was there. Would use again if needed to stay near airport.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: No hair was everywhere and extra towels is like pulling teeth
Cons: Staff coukd be nicer and not rude
Excellent9.3
Pros: Close to the freeway, close to everything, convenient, daily breakfast, non-smoking.
Cons: The parking - 4 parking lots, but the best 2 parking lots closer to the hotel were always full. Saw pets at the hotel and the hotel does not advertise that it is pet friendly.
Okay4.8
Cons: Rooms are too noisy... rooms have little or no noise insulation. Another lodger ranted and raved, screamed and yelled all night with no response from staff despite complaints. Will never stay there again!
Good6.2
Pros: Close to our business activity
Cons: Rooms extremely small Yogurt at breakfast (all of them!) were outdated by a month
Okay5.3
Pros: location
Cons: ~shabby room ~poorly trained front desk staff ~over priced
Excellent8.0
Pros: Airport shuttle, friendly, breakfast, fridge, microwave, hairdryer. Would stay here again if needed.
Cons: Can be noisy depending on what type of guests are staying. Not in the best part of town although the Ramada itself is nice though. On the ground level the air conditioner unit was blowing air up into the curtains which defied the purpose a bit. Also there wasn't enough electrical outlets by the bed because the fridge and microwave and lamp were using the same socket. We noticed later on in the week when we returned, and had a room on the third level, that a multiple plug in socket was used, this was helpful. ( I like to plug in my cell-phone close to the bed) Alarm clock did not go off on the appointed time... and yes we double checked that we had set it right.
Okay5.1
Pros: The lobby was pleasing and updated. Bed comfortable.
Cons: Bathroom was too small. The lock on the door didn't work. The room seemed dated. Breakfast area too small. No turnaround area in the front parking lot.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Very helpful staff at the front desk l Delicious breakfast!
Excellent9.4
Pros: The staff was kind and breakfast was really good.
Mediocre3.7
Cons: Saturday morning at 6 am a construction crew came in to do repairs on the room next door. This included tearing out walls and moving furniture. I would think that they would have the common sense not to start work until after 8:30 or 9. Staff apologized some what but did not off any kind of confidence that it would not happen again. Room was in poor condition and was dirty. Will stay next door at the Chestnut next time. They are cheaper too.
Good6.2
Pros: Staff was friendly and the person in charge of breakfast was very attentive. She made sure she replenished the food as they are running low.
Cons: Hair dryer was not working and I told the front desk to get it fixed as we will be staying for another night. When we came back for the evening, we found the hair dryer was still inoperable. Very disappointing!

Mediocre3.1
Pros: The staff here was incredibly friendly. They did their job well and were very kind.
Cons: The rooms were pretty dirty. The facilities were old, dated and in much need of repair. The air conditioner barely worked. There is no hair dryer or iron. No complimentary shampoo or conditioner. There is no “Do Not Disturb” signs offered to guests. Our room smelled like dog urine. I honestly felt as though I was staying in a sketchy, dirty $40 a night motel but paying $110 a night. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else.
Mediocre3.4
Cons: This place is overpriced. Unless your main objective while visiting Portland is to visit the strip club next door or go bowling at the place across the street I would not stay here. There are hardly any amenities available even if requested. The worst part? There were bugs in the bed.
Mediocre2.8
Pros: Close to bus stop
Cons: A fridge and expensive wifi
Good7.3
Pros: I liked how conveniently located it is. It's a short drive to downtown.
Cons: The fact that wifi is extra is a reason for me to reconsider staying here again.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: nothing to like here
Cons: The staff was unfriendly, the staff were not polite. The room when we got to it had dirty yellow sheet and was stinking. When we asked the staff to do something about it, they said they were understaffed and all the other rooms were taken so could not do anything about it.
Good7.3
Pros: location was ideal for Portland. Close to downtown, could take the bus and be there in10 min. Close to Safeway and convenience stores.
Cons: required payment for wi-fi old CRT type TV took up too much space on small desk picture was not very good. noisy A/C Staff was helpful and was able to save a few bucks by correcting the occupants to 1 adult and 1 child (kayak had defaulted to 4 adults) No way you can fit 4 adults in that small room
Okay5.4
Pros: Cheap and good location
Cons: No refrigerator, no laundry, extremely cramped. Have stayed at other Motel 6's that had much better amenities and more space.
