Pros: We came for the weekend and a surprise engagement. CasaReyna was beautiful, clean, inviting, and new surprises and attention to detail around every corner. The staff were excellent, helpful, happy to accommodate, and made us feel like family. Do NOT skip the restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner there and the meals were excellent. Hard to pick a favorite, but the poblano crepes were unlike anything I’d had before. Be sure to visit the Pool and track on the roof. They don’t mention it much but there’s a excellent view of the city and ruins from old building and murals across the road. Not only was CasaReyna wonderful but also an incredible value. For the level of service, attention, and quality I wouldn’t have been upset paying double or more for both the hotel and restaurant. Thank you so much for helping to make our engagement memorable. Cons: A/C system not the greatest on warm days, the unit kept turning on/off without rhyme or reason and never cooled the space well. Luckily Puebla is not always that hot.

Pros: Fantastic location for getting around on foot. Within a few blocks there are plenty of sights and foods to experience. Friendly and helpful staff who didn't seem to mind my Spanglish. Facilities were well kept and quite spacious. It's definitely a modern hotel for a city with such history and colonial aesthetic.

Pros: Everything but specifically the extremely friendly and attentive staff, they provided legniappe they really went above and beyond. Even staying in the mirage in Vegas had no comparison to this.

Pros: Nice hotel and staff, breakfast buffet was outstanding. The on site spa isn't really a spa. The massage I received was pretty amateurish, and the pedicure laughable. Several times I had to call to get towels for my room, and the maids didn't always replenish soaps ad's such. They also had some power issues and there were periods without ac or lights in some areas. Staff, however, were great, accommodating, and service was fest in restaurant, bar, check in and porters.

Pros: The location is really great. Right near the city center and lots of restaurants. Staff was very nice.
Cons: Lots of little annoyances: no outlet near most of the beds, hostel had no drinking water on my second day, hot rooms. By far the worst part was outside the hostel there was actual jack hammering happening all night -- from 10pm until 5am. Obviously not the fault of the hostel, but a terrible experience, and one I'm surprised they wouldn't at least warn guests about.
