Pros: The hotel is beautiful, with a real air of luxury. At a very affordable price too. However I ate here and will not be repeating the experience. The food was so bland it was like eating cardboard. My guest had a different dish and had the same opinion. It was the most bizarre dining experience I have ever had. It looked appetizing but tasted of nothing. I would also like to comment that although luxurious the hotel is rather stingy, you have to pay for wifi and the business centre. The 20% room service charge was excessive. Poor tv channels too. I'd still come back though as such a gorgeous place in a fabulous location.

Pros: The staff were able to accommodate every request. Our club level suite was well-appointed and comfortable. The club lounge concierges were all very attentive and courteous. Front desk staff was the same. The fitness center, Sante, is an actual fitness club to which hotel guests have access. This club had top-notch equipment and facilities, making this the best hotel gym I've ever experienced. I will stay here again for the gym alone. An excellent experience overall, and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Pros: The shoe shine guy is fantastic as is the bellman staff. I almost allowed one front desk girl to ruin my stay with her inability to provide basic customer service but other than that single interaction, everyone was quite amiable. The amenities are fantastic and the neighborhood, The Central West End, would rival any other boutique environment in the US. The rooms are well appointed although I'll admit the floor lamp in my room was broken beyond repair, the alarm clock seemed to inexplicably lose and gain hours on a daily basis, none of the phones worked quite right and when I requested an ottoman for my chair the staff simply said "No".
Cons: I feel like when Sonnesta took over the property they made some cost cutting measures that aren't indicative to running an all inclusive luxury hotel. They seem to rely solely on the innate ability of their staff to anticipate their guests needs. And while exploiting your employees talents is obviously smart I feel that their customer service training for those employees who could use it, is lacking. A hotel representing itself as the Chase does should leave the corner cutting to the Holiday Inn down the street.

Pros: The rooms are beautiful and clean. The room had a refrigerator and wine opener which was perfect. The Chase Park lounge had live music and a fun atmosphere. The movie theater was a nice touch although we did not see a movie during our stay.
Cons: What happened to microwaves in hotel rooms? Can we get them back please. The tenderloin room had a nice atmosphere but a very limited menu. The fitness center was somewhat difficult to locate and did not have a sauna even though they offer classes. For the price, it would be nice for some of these additional options.

Pros: Everything was truly wonderful. From cleanliness of the entire place to the pool, bars, room service, movie theatre and conference facilities there is not one thing that I encountered on my three day stay that could have been improved upon and I don’t see that very often!

Cons: The staff did a poor job of providing customer service. The room card didn't work no one explained that you had to go to the 8th floor then get off and find another set of elevators to get to your room. It was loud The casino makes everything smell like smoke and whatever they use to try and mask the smoke.

Terrible mouse in the room the entire time. The soundproofing from the outside is non-existing. Heard the wind howling and the traffic 24rs. a day.

Pros: Exceptional customer service. Check in was a breeze thanks to the staff preparing for our arrival. I had some flowers delivered to the hotel for my wife on the day of check in. (Saturday) the staff had already placed the flowers in the room and they gave us a very spacious room with practically no neighbors. The valet staff was very complimentary upon our arrivals over the course of our stay. the hotel even had a meet and great for the Cardnials baseball team, and we hardly noticed. The Hyatt will now be our go to hotel when we visit St. Louis.

Pros: My favorite part about the trip was that it was a very nice hotel that was close to the things that I wanted to enjoy. When I arrived on the 4th, I casually walked over to the Gateway Arch for a beautiful view of the city. The next morning I went to 8th and Pine (which was only four blocks away) to ride the MetroLink to the beautiful zoo. After a quick change at the Forest Park stop, I rode the bus a few minutes to the zoo. BTW the zoo is free but I recommend the Adventure Pass so that you can see and do all the extras at the zoo. Next, I got lost. Not St. Louis's or the hotel's fault, but I thought I would mention that you do not get on the bus back to Forest Park terminal at the same place as you were let off. Go across the road, and it will save you an hour tour of the neighborhoods of St. Louis. That night I walked 7 blocks to Busch Stadium to watch a Cardinals game. As you can see I was able to walk to several highlights of St. Louis. The next morning after I checked out, I took a short drive to Anheuser-Busch for the Budweiser tour. I took the Day tour for $10 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the Hyatt Regency made all of this possible. The room overlooked the Arch and the bed was yummy.
Cons: The only thing that I can think of that I didn't much care for is that most of the stuff in the store wasn't marked, so since my normally $1.49 cheese crackers, cost over $5 I didn't know that until I got to the checkout. I felt bad for the guy who had three cokes and two bags of chips that costs well over $20.

Cons: The layout is weird (it was hard to find our room) and it was a long walk from the entrance to the room. My biggest complaint was the pool: It looked fine from the surface but then I got in with goggles on and was disgusted to find wads of human hair and other dirt all over the bottom. Maybe the filter was broken? Regardless, it was gross. Also, there were no towels (and no one came to refill them in the hour I was there).

Pros: From start to finish the stay on NYE was fantastic. Valet service was amazing (and only $7 more than self park). Check in was fast and easy even with multiple weddings taking place at the hotel that evening. Every worker encountered was friendly and willing to help or answer questions. The rooms were amazing. Pros: I should say, having been born and raised in St. Louis, and having participated in the Theater Project Company's youth theater program before the renovations, I am partial to Union Station. The hotel was renovated lovingly, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, pleasant and helpful. The prices for the room and accommodations were reasonable. And the grand ballroom is something to behold (there's a laser light show every hour in the evenings that is a lot of fun).

Pros: The staff was very friendly from check in to the moment we left. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and we loved the historic aspect of it. The hotel is conveniently located near the ballpark, the arch, and other great must see attractions. Breakfast buffet was good.

Pros: The Grand Hall Light Show was Spectacular. The buildings history was posted on plaques in various places that was interesting. The building as whole was restored beautifully. Clean room and friendly front desk clerks. The walk to the Ball Park was fine for a couple but was a little far with younger children, although there is city transportation available. Kids loved the pond with fish to feed and the paddle boats, all in all we would book here again.
Cons: Having to pay $20 to park a night, and had we not be Hilton Honors Reward members we would've had to pay for breakfast as well. The layout was a little off, with the rooms a distance from the lobby. There was a wedding two of the three nights and everything was blocked off made it inconvenient and missed the light show. Very few shops in the shopping center.

Luckily there was a room available which was a miracle considering the Garth Brooks concert and Polar Express experience were events that day/night. Extremely disappointed and would have been quite angry if there had not been a hotel room available. I had my email confirmation from Kayak but the hotel had no record of the reservation. And we obviously had to pay the going rate instead of the rate from Kayak.

Also, I chose this hotel partly because of a particular piece of equipment in the fitness center. Pros: The staff at the front desk were friendly and professional. I like the free waters in the room and workout facility. I also liked the free fruit and earphones the hotel provides in the workout facility.
Cons: The first morning I was there one of the female housekeepers walked into our room without knocking. The only thing she said was sorry and left. So when housekeeping finally came and cleaned our room while we where gone we came back to a bed that had blood stained on the sheets. Neither one of us where bleeding and we had been gone all day. I also like the cookies the hotel provides, but when I bit into one I had a long piece of hair in it. I had just went down and got the cookies from the desk. Also the bubbles in the hot tub where not coming on when we turn the nob.

Room was comfortable and well furnished. We slept rather comfortably and were off early the next morning. 99% good with one moment of terribleness bringing down the review.

And that is where I saw the nasty, old, half bar of soap, complete with hair on it. Gross. Someone short wouldn't be able to see it and I get that. Can't clean what you don't see, and with everything else being in good order it was just a simple oversight. But YUCK. And the air conditioner sounded like an aircraft carrier. Whoa. Loud. Luckily it was a very mild night and it only kicked on a couple times.

Pros: We had very little interaction with the staff. We checked in and the gentleman was helpful and polite. When you got to our room the key did not work and there was an employee walking by that used a master key to open it for us. The floor was wet by the a/c unit and the remote batteries were old and the remote did not work properly. We told the man at the front desk upon check out and he made sure to write down what we had told him and he thanked us for the info.

Cons: When we first arrived to check in, the key card system wasn't working but they eventually got it working and we got our keys. Once we got to the room, it was a little tired and worn. The first room we were in didn't have a working TV or air conditioner and the closet door was in disrepair. The room was very stuffy. The repairman said he was going to have us move to a different room and that the front desk would call us. After some time and no phone call, I went to the front desk and the repairman had never told the front desk to move us. The front desk was very kind, helpful, and apologetic for the repairman. We were moved to another room which was better but still a little worn out especially the bathroom door which had chipped paint and was fraying on the edges. That night the room next to us was playing loud music around midnight, repeatedly waking my wife and young kids. The front desk staff was very apologetic once again and actually called an officer to the room and we never heard a peep from that room again.

Cons: There was definitely some false advertising on the side of the Expedia. The room and bathroom were nothing like what was pictured on the web site. The pool area was also closed and the hotel proceeded to charge us for the resort fees. Why would we be charged the full price for the resort fee when we can't use the full amenities? That doesn't make sense. When we went to discuss this with the manager of the hotel, about the resort fees and the room not looking like the pictures we saw, all he could say was that it wasn't his fault and that there was nothing he could do for us. He was incredibly rude, not willing to be understanding at all. I found this to be incredibly appalling, considering he is in a managerial position of a hotel, he seemed to be lacking training in customer service. With that being said, we will not be staying at this hotel ever again. The bathroom was incredibly small and disgusting. There was hair all over the tub and the were brown spots all over the shower wall and the shower curtain had yellow stains all in it. It was hard to believe that this place was just recently renovated. Considering the fridge in the room was actually really old and we were told that it wouldn't keep our stuff real cold but cold enough.

Cons: Don't be fooled by the pictures online. The place is dirty, with a deserted atmosphere. The front revolving door is broken. It smells like cigarette smoke, alcohol and urine. Must moldy odor in room. This place definitely did not live up to the advertising and hype. Was a place for gamblers to lay their heads for a few hours before going back to the tables and games. Not much more than this.

Cons: When we arrived, we waited 30 minutes to be acknowledged. There was no apology made for slow service. The two women were taking care of one man and didnt even look in our direction. Once we were helped, it took them another 30 minutes to find our reservation. They were relatively rude and seemed put out by our stay. I will never stay there again.

Pros: The room was spacious, the staff was also very helpful.
Cons: I chose a non-smoking room but when I went into the room it still smelled like smoke. They charge $50 for smoking in a non-smoking room so I made sure I let the front desk know right away. They didn’t give me any issues which was good. The TV didn’t work in my room, it would turn on but then the screen would go blue. It wasn’t a big issue for me though so I didn’t ask for any assistance with fixing it. The entrance for this hotel is really weird, a little difficult to find if it’s your first time. I called an Uber to pick me up from there and they literally had to go in circles because there’s only 1 entrance and if you’re not paying a lot of attention, you will definitely miss it. Breakfast had no hot food except oatmeal.

Cons: When we arrived to check in we find out a lightning bolt stuck a transformer and the whole block was out. That is not their fault, you can't control Mother Nature. The manager said it would be 2+ hours until power may be back on. The manager ascorrted me to our room and manually unlocked the door. We got ready real quick (with only the light from the window) luckly our room was not one of the rooms with broken windows.... We left for the wedding we were traveling for... Based on our surrounding and no form of security we opted to take all of our belongings with us. Because our check in was being escorted to a room but due to power outage not having a key we didn't feel comfortable leaving our laptops etc. we found out they got power 4 hrs later and when we entered the room with lighting I just had to laugh. There was a stain on the sheets. Walls were dirty, bathroom tile and toilet base was dirty, bedside table were sticky, half of the lamps wern't pluged into the walls and don't forget the dried candle wax on the floor. Let's just say I was glad it was for one night and I kept my shoes on. You get what you pay for.

Cons: The lobby smelled as soon as you stepped in. Once we got in our Non Smoking room, the stench continued, like a decade's worth of cigarette smoke and a thrift store. We even had a used (still full of butts) ashtray sitting in the corner of the floor. There were no towels or even hand towels in the bathroom; however, upon seeing how gross the bathroom was, we quickly decided we wouldn't be using the disgusting shower anyway. There were cigarette ashes on top of the closes toilet lid, clearly indicating that the room had not been cleaned. The sheets were wrinkled and dingy, looked as if they'd been slept in multiple times and then remade. We refused to entertain the idea of sleeping with those linens, so we brought in our own blankets and pillows from the car. One of the only lamps (no overhead light) was broken, so that may have helped hide more nastiness of the room from us. The phone was missing most of the buttons, so it wasn't even useable had we wanted to call to the front. This was a one night stay on our road trip back to Georgia. I know it was a very cheap price, but the night previous we stayed at a similiary priced hotel in MUCH better condition. We left very first thing in the morning. This place was absolutely disgusting, not even worth the $60something price tag. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Days Inn should be ashamed that their name is on this dump.

Cons: Days Inn needs to update the rooms. They need top paint and have microwaves & Mini Fridges in all rooms. The bathtub did not have a mat which was dangerous. The bathtub fixtures were barely hanging on. The first night the noise level next door was really bad.
