Staff was very attentive. They took real good care of us. Flight on time etc.. I have not flown United much in the past however after this trip and how well things have gone. United might just have converted me.
Small plane not fully booked and on time
The airlines did not make the connecting flight for me, nor for probably 190+ passengers. They were not able to make alternate arrangements for most passengers. I ended up paying for alternate conveyance out of pocket. This type of treatment of paying customers deserves a class action lawsuit. Corporations think they can get away with this, and won’t care unless it hurts their bottom line. When they get sued enough, they’ll start caring about serving the people who pay them the money that enables them to exist as a company. The people working at the United check-in worked hard, but the task was understaffed. Possibly the airport at Brussels is to blame also. Their government feels it’s imperative to do a passport control of everyone connecting to flights, who don’t leave the transit area. This is unheard of at most airports. Passport control and customs if for people leaving the transit area. Their irresponsible slowdown cost millions of dollars, to hundreds of people in just one flight. Perhaps they deserve a class action lawsuit at The Hague and shame in the press to reverse their ridiculous policy. I wonder how many hundreds of people were affected by this policy.
Comfortable. Attentive crew. Good communication ONCE ON BOARD. The bad: Truthfulness - we were told that our flight was delayed because the incoming aircraft was late. The United app and Flightaware both showed UAL 1918 from LIR to DEN (07/02/2022) arriving at 17:10, 13 minutes EARLY. Please don't lie to me. That's the worst thing a company can do is LIE to its customer base. Baggage claim - we waited 45 minutes after arriving at our gate to receive luggage at baggage claim. Then, woth a Prioiry tag from our 1st class purchase, our bags were some of the last to be on the carousel. This falls way short of expectations, especially when full 1st class fare was purchased.
The customer service in front desk are amazing. Even in the boarding, thank you united airline for have great staff. Best service.

What food...what entertainment. A cookie isnt food but its better than pretzels.
Swiss Air required me to check my carry-on size bag and then lost it. They have provided zero assistance in locating it.

Flight delayed significantly due to staff shortages. Airbus has extremely poor and cramped seating in economy. Seats recline too much, back into laps of those behind. Food was good, Vegetarian friendly. Flight attendants did a great job under difficult circumstances. I will try to avoid this aircraft in the future. I suggest delaying trips with long flights until the airline industry recovers from COVID
Flight delayed. Crew excellent. Airlines are struggling amid shortages of staff. Be prepared to have flights canceled or delayed.
Flights kept changing right up to the day before leaving—-finally requiring two connecting flights instead of one with all of us traveling alone to connect through a different city. The connecting flight changes were scheduled too close to the arriving flight time—-requiring another phone call and extremely long wait times to United. In all, we had to call United 6 times with flight changes THEY made. United and their partner companies (in our case Lufthansa) continually blamed the other provider for the scheduling problems. All flights we took on this trip were delayed. The flight staff was always good. The arrangements for the trip a nightmare.

The plane was so old and dirty and honestly needs to be discontinued.

Bright cheerful and helpful staff on the plane. Gate staff was indifferent, frazzled and not engaged.
Delayed too
A very long way to the connecting flight and no update on the delays were frustrating! It was messy at Frankfurt Airport. Thank God for the masks, we couldn't smell each other after all the running and rushing around.
Very bad things so I don’t like it and when airplane arrive at EWR then stay on parking for over 30 minutes so the people got complaints so this very bad
Delayed over eight hours!
Connection time was inadequate causing us to miss our flight. Frankfurt required at least 2 1/2 hours for a connection but you only gave us 80 and 45 minutes. We had to pay to rebook our returning connection in order to make it in time for our return flight home. Costing us $600 for rebooking our connection to Frankfurt plus a Frankfurt hotel.
My check in luggage was supposed to be cleared and OK all the way to the final destination in Europe, but it was delayed by (as of now) one day.

Nothing I liked cause the damn flight was canceled!
United Airlines flight 1238 from Orlando to LAX on Friday night June 24, 2022 1. Flight was delayed two hours from late arrival caused by an earlier delay, resulting on my not being able to catch my connecting flight from LAX to Santa Barbara, and having to spend the night in Los Angeles. Fortunately I have a cousin who lives here and she was able to put me up. 2. My entertainment screen was not working. 3. An infant or young child in front of me had a course cough and was coughing frequently. He did not have a mascon, raising concerns about possibility of COVID-19. 4. Airline staff were professional and good, as was the pilot having to make a difficult landing in heavy fog.
