Pros: The staff are wonderful, the rooms are spacious, the bedding is extremely comfortable. The restaurant is amazing, far better than I had hoped, and you cannot beat the location: @ 1.5 blocks from Union Station. And they served wine in the lobby from 5 to 6 p.m., so we were able to come back from a busy day and relax with a glass and chat with other guests.
Cons: One member of our party was disappointed that breakfast wasn't included.

Cons: When I checked in, the staff was very unfriendly. Seriously unfriendly. There was also a problem with the kimpton rewards. I signed up several days before the visit, and got an email that I was accepted, but the hotel had no record of this. I was able to login to the wifi with the email address I used with the kimpton rewards, but the hotel could not find it. It seems that they didn't want to accept it, even though they advertise it on their website and in the room.
Located in Chinatown, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Smithsonian American Art Museum and CityCenterDC. Capital One Arena and Walter E. Washington Convention Center are also within 10 minutes. Gallery Place Chinatown Station is only a 3-minute walk and 7th St. Convention Center Station is 9 minutes.

The room was too small for two people with full-size suitcases. There is literally not enough room to open them. You can keep a couple of them under the bed so you can walk around, but there is nowhere for clothes. So I'd not recommend it for couples who aren't traveling light. For a solo traveler with a single small bag, it would be a great option. The location is good, the staff is nice and helpful, everything is well maintained, etc.

Pros: The room is like staying with a friend and sleeping in their spare bedroom. The bed was super comfortable, bathroom was a perfect match to the size of the room. The roof top bar is a great place to catch views of the city day or night. The Crimson was a place to grab a quick bite to eat regardless of what meal it was.
Cons: The shower curtain gets a little friendly if you like your showers hot. Leaving the curtain open a few inches helped at the cost of having a damp floor mat.

Pros: I love pod hotels, this is my third one (been to both Pod NY). Rooms are "compact" but public areas are always so enjoyable. The coffee bar at Pod DC is really nice, as well as the penthouse lounge which offers comfy seating and beautiful late afternoon light ! Location is perfect for sight seeing, bus to Georgetown is 2 blocks away.

The room was quite small (like being in a pod!) but you don’t spend much time there anyway, and everything was nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were too, the tv was huge and the bathroom was nicely designed. Definitely not specious, but it really didn’t bother me! I’d stay there again!

Experience was great to start to finish! We needed to check in early and they were able to accommodate. The one small area for improvement would be the room never seemed to get to the cooler temperature we set it at but it was still a pleasant stay overall. Right in the middle of the Wharf, beautiful oversights on the water. Great food options everywhere, coffee shops, all within walking distance and less than 10 minutes from the major landmarks in DC. Staff was friendly, quick to get us extra towels as requested. :)

The ONLY negative, which I guess would be expected at a hotel of this calibre, is the price for food. Breakfast starting at $32 is a bit much in my opinion, but it was a great breakfast :)

Pros: The location was excellent for our purposes. The room was well laid out with a comfortable bed. The hotel is a converted church which gives it a unique character.
Cons: The hotel and restaurant are entirely separate although they occupy the same building. i am lactose intolerant, and food staff had difficulty understanding what that meant- putting cheese in the potato cake and in the egg omelet, offering cream for my coffee. The restaurant can get very loud with no softer surfaces to absorb the echoes.

Pros: We received excellent service from this hotel! Greg at the front desk made a great first impression, even though we arrived to check in after midnight. In the morning, we realized that our plans for the day had changed somewhat. A man with the nametag of "Optimus Prime" generously allowed us to keep our belongings in our room and do a late check-out mid-afternoon so that we could return from our morning plans and change clothes before checking out. This generosity was given for free! They were also very happy to store our luggage for the rest of the day, even though we had checked out. The experience was made all the better by a free breakfast (both hot and cold items offered), as well as a great location near the White House and a few blocks from the Metro. We would go back again for sure.

Cons: Valet parked my car for 1 night, and took it upon themselves to charge $50 to my credit card, plus a $17 convenience fee. No lot in the surrounding area exceeded $25 for overnight parking. I should have parked my own car. I feel that the hotel was nervy and rude to charge us double the going rate for parking - without notifying me. I felt taken advantage of, since we were already paying top dollar for a 1 night stay. The hotel was nice, but not that nice. I stay in DC all the time, but I may not return unless this problem is rectified.

Your concierges are extremely knowledgeable and took the time necessary to help me find stores and restaurants; making phone calls for me to get things done. Cons: My husband and i were given an end corner room 302 that was way to small and gave a confined effect. We spent as much time out of the room as possible. Parking was also difficult due to lack of easy access to our vehicle asit was in an underground garrage.

Pros: We went to DC to celebrate my husband's birthday for a long weekend. We looked for a long time online and a lot of the offering was overpriced for the amenities available. The Club Quarters was a great find!!!! The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. There is an espresso bar on the 2nd floor!! We were a few blocks from all the greatest attractions, walked to every site. Never had to take a cab or the Metro. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will come back. We found a gem in D.C. and will be recommending it to our family and friends.

Pros: The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped through the door with my 12 year old. I detest the hold hotels put on your credit card and don't release for days and was told I could pay the $50 incidental in cash (which I received back at checkout before the housekeeper had even cleaned the room). The room was indeed small with only 1 bed which would have been a problem if I hadn't been traveling with family. However, it was clean, along with the bathroom. I did whack my elbow against the wall as I was showering as the stall was a bit cramped. We received great instructions on how to make our way to the White House and monuments - - all within walking distance. We finished our running around a bit early so we took advantage of the 2nd floor lounge for about a half hour before heading back to Union Station. There was an industrial coffee/espresso/cappuccino maker, tea bags, newspapers, a big screen tv set to CNN, a charging station, computers etc. The rooms are too small for friends to convene comfortably so the lounge is a nice spot. Convenience: A block away from the Circulator, a block away from the Farragut North and Farragut West station (it is actually on top of the Farragut West station, however, the entrance is closed so it's necessary to walk to the other side a block down). The complimentary bottled water saved us some money and we surely took advantage.
Cons: The shower was uncomfortably small for a tall lanky person like me. Whacking my elbow against the wall isn't something I expect to happen in a hotel (usually hotel bathrooms are more comfy than my micro bathroom at home in NYC). Also, the room did not have a mini fridge which would have been nice for our leftovers. The hotel is downtown so the area at night is sparse (still feels safe though). You'll need to take a little walk to find some good breakfast if you set out early on a weekend because the nearby places are either never open on the weekends or only open closer to 9 am.

Pros: The location is tremendous! I loved being able to hop onto the metro and get to all of the tourist locations/museums around D.C. It is only a 5-7 minute walk to the White House from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and will try to accommodate you with anything you may need. The price of the hotel was superb considering the location, amenities (free pop/snacks in the lounge), and the atmosphere the hotel creates for travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to D.C.!

Pros: Everything about my stay at The Watergate was top notch. The hotel and rooms really are as nice as in the pictures. Most hotels never seem to be as they present themselves. The Watergate, however, does NOT disappoint! Opening my room door for the first time felt as if I was walking into the photos themselves. The staff are incredible. There was an unforeseen issue with my flight coming into town, making me a day late. A simple 2 minute phone call to the hotel (no BS wait times) to give them a heads up was all it took. Upon arrival the next day, the very first person I interacted with had full knowledge of my situation, knew me by name, and already had my room key in-hand. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Can't beat the location (a short walk and I was at the White House) and the restaurant downstairs (Kingbird) is phenomenal. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Pros: Very clean! No issues there at all. And I got a first hand look as I was vomiting into the toilet of our room.
Cons: Smelling drugs being smoked. The all inclusive, but not at all inclusive package. Over charged and having to argue about the charges at the front desk in front of other patrons rather than to the side. Getting sick from cross contamination of foods.

Pros: This hotel is located near the Foggy Bottom/Dupont Circle neighborhoods and is close to the Foggy Bottom Metro Blue line. This makes it easy to get around town and see the tourist sites. The hotel feels brand new and is very clean and nice. Breakfast is great.
Cons: Would have been more convenient to be a little closer to tourist areas, but this was a nice compromise because of the lower cost.

Pros: Great location in the west end of the city close to Georgetown and DuPont Circle. Walgreens is across the street, as well as a Ritz Carlton. The bar/restaurant had good American fare and it's a good place to unwind.

Pros: Great location - easy to get to and with electronic key, I don't need to ever interact with the front desk staff. Just come in go to my room, and when I'm ready to leave, just leave. Makes it simple. Also, there are times when the prices are great (under $200) for a room. Makes this my go to hotel when in DC (especially for meetings, etc., in the Georgetown area).
Cons: Sometimes the hotel rates balloon up beyond $300. Not to happy for a Hilton Garden Inn to be that expensive.

Pros: The restaurant downstairs was good. The staff is what made it great. The front desk was very helpful. Rooms were clean and the hotel overall was well maintained.
Cons: There was a smell in the lobby area the entire week I stayed there on business. My room initially smelled also but it disappeared after a few hours. Not sure what it was but it was not good.
