Breakfast is good. Location is perfect. It’s close to sightseeing places but a little tucked away from trafffic and craziness. I love the hotel setting that is next to the water. Everything about this hotel is just 7 star standard I was looking for.

Pros: We experienced the sweetest women at the front desk, both named Anna. One even kindly gave us a room with a view at no additional charge since it was my boyfriends first time to DC. She recommended some great dinner spots which we loved. Also, the gentleman outside the next morning were so friendly, we chatted with them for a while before our Uber came. Kudos to everyone for welcoming us home after a long trip abroad. Made us feel so happy to be back.

Your concierges are extremely knowledgeable and took the time necessary to help me find stores and restaurants; making phone calls for me to get things done. Pros: I liked everything. The room was modern, well appointed, with a comfortable bed, and spacious bath. The staff was as pleasant and helpful as any I have encountered in some time. The location is great! I ate in the restaurant once and I enjoyed my meal. I look forward to my next visit.

Pros: The location was excellent for our purposes. The room was well laid out with a comfortable bed. The hotel is a converted church which gives it a unique character.
Cons: The hotel and restaurant are entirely separate although they occupy the same building. i am lactose intolerant, and food staff had difficulty understanding what that meant- putting cheese in the potato cake and in the egg omelet, offering cream for my coffee. The restaurant can get very loud with no softer surfaces to absorb the echoes.

Pros: Everything about my stay at The Watergate was top notch. The hotel and rooms really are as nice as in the pictures. Most hotels never seem to be as they present themselves. The Watergate, however, does NOT disappoint! Opening my room door for the first time felt as if I was walking into the photos themselves. The staff are incredible. There was an unforeseen issue with my flight coming into town, making me a day late. A simple 2 minute phone call to the hotel (no BS wait times) to give them a heads up was all it took. Upon arrival the next day, the very first person I interacted with had full knowledge of my situation, knew me by name, and already had my room key in-hand. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Can't beat the location (a short walk and I was at the White House) and the restaurant downstairs (Kingbird) is phenomenal. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Pros: We received excellent service from this hotel! Greg at the front desk made a great first impression, even though we arrived to check in after midnight. In the morning, we realized that our plans for the day had changed somewhat. A man with the nametag of "Optimus Prime" generously allowed us to keep our belongings in our room and do a late check-out mid-afternoon so that we could return from our morning plans and change clothes before checking out. This generosity was given for free! They were also very happy to store our luggage for the rest of the day, even though we had checked out. The experience was made all the better by a free breakfast (both hot and cold items offered), as well as a great location near the White House and a few blocks from the Metro. We would go back again for sure.

The restaurant is amazing, far better than I had hoped, and you cannot beat the location: @ 1.5 blocks from Union Station. And they served wine in the lobby from 5 to 6 p.m., so we were able to come back from a busy day and relax with a glass and chat with other guests.
Cons: One member of our party was disappointed that breakfast wasn't included.

Cons: Location was close to Capitol Hill, yet in a shady part of town. Bed linens had some yellow stains, but we just folded that part to the end of the bed.

Pros: Nice room, liked the yoga mat in the room, great location literally minutes from Union Station, and very close to Capitol Hill, museums etc.
Cons: When I checked in, the staff was very unfriendly. Seriously unfriendly. There was also a problem with the kimpton rewards. I signed up several days before the visit, and got an email that I was accepted, but the hotel had no record of this. I was able to login to the wifi with the email address I used with the kimpton rewards, but the hotel could not find it. It seems that they didn't want to accept it, even though they advertise it on their website and in the room.

Cons: Some issue with Bis at breakfast. Had to ask for many missing utensils, jam on table had been opened and used. Hard to get coffee refills. Lunch was excellent on all counts.

Pros: The actual hotel was clean and updated, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the actual stay was great. Nice little happy hour offered at the bar.
Cons: Valet parked my car for 1 night, and took it upon themselves to charge $50 to my credit card, plus a $17 convenience fee. No lot in the surrounding area exceeded $25 for overnight parking. I should have parked my own car. I feel that the hotel was nervy and rude to charge us double the going rate for parking - without notifying me. I felt taken advantage of, since we were already paying top dollar for a 1 night stay. The hotel was nice, but not that nice. I stay in DC all the time, but I may not return unless this problem is rectified.

Pros: We were in a suite and it was spacious and nicely furnished. Most staff were nice. Great having a Starbucks in the lobby. Nice central location.
Cons: The bathroom was small, especially the corner sink. There was no counter space. Front desk clerks were hit and miss. Some nice, some not. Concierge staff were great. The breakfast was OK, not great.

Pros: Excellent service. I ask them if I could make my check in before 3 pm (the official hour) because I was going to arrive at 9 am, and they had my room ready for that hour.

Pros: This hotel is located near the Foggy Bottom/Dupont Circle neighborhoods and is close to the Foggy Bottom Metro Blue line. This makes it easy to get around town and see the tourist sites. The hotel feels brand new and is very clean and nice. Breakfast is great.

Cons: Smelling drugs being smoked. The all inclusive, but not at all inclusive package. Over charged and having to argue about the charges at the front desk in front of other patrons rather than to the side. Getting sick from cross contamination of foods.

Pros: We went to DC to celebrate my husband's birthday for a long weekend. We looked for a long time online and a lot of the offering was overpriced for the amenities available. The Club Quarters was a great find!!!! The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. There is an espresso bar on the 2nd floor!! We were a few blocks from all the greatest attractions, walked to every site. Never had to take a cab or the Metro. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will come back. We found a gem in D.C. and will be recommending it to our family and friends.

Pros: The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped through the door with my 12 year old. I detest the hold hotels put on your credit card and don't release for days and was told I could pay the $50 incidental in cash (which I received back at checkout before the housekeeper had even cleaned the room). The room was indeed small with only 1 bed which would have been a problem if I hadn't been traveling with family. However, it was clean, along with the bathroom. I did whack my elbow against the wall as I was showering as the stall was a bit cramped. We received great instructions on how to make our way to the White House and monuments - - all within walking distance. We finished our running around a bit early so we took advantage of the 2nd floor lounge for about a half hour before heading back to Union Station. There was an industrial coffee/espresso/cappuccino maker, tea bags, newspapers, a big screen tv set to CNN, a charging station, computers etc. The rooms are too small for friends to convene comfortably so the lounge is a nice spot. Convenience: A block away from the Circulator, a block away from the Farragut North and Farragut West station (it is actually on top of the Farragut West station, however, the entrance is closed so it's necessary to walk to the other side a block down). The complimentary bottled water saved us some money and we surely took advantage.
Cons: The shower was uncomfortably small for a tall lanky person like me. Whacking my elbow against the wall isn't something I expect to happen in a hotel (usually hotel bathrooms are more comfy than my micro bathroom at home in NYC). Also, the room did not have a mini fridge which would have been nice for our leftovers. The hotel is downtown so the area at night is sparse (still feels safe though). You'll need to take a little walk to find some good breakfast if you set out early on a weekend because the nearby places are either never open on the weekends or only open closer to 9 am.

Pros: The location is tremendous! I loved being able to hop onto the metro and get to all of the tourist locations/museums around D.C. It is only a 5-7 minute walk to the White House from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and will try to accommodate you with anything you may need. The price of the hotel was superb considering the location, amenities (free pop/snacks in the lounge), and the atmosphere the hotel creates for travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to D.C.!

Cons: My husband and i were given an end corner room 302 that was way to small and gave a confined effect. We spent as much time out of the room as possible. Parking was also difficult due to lack of easy access to our vehicle asit was in an underground garrage.
