Because we missed our connection to Philadelphia on the BA flight from Milan to London, the exit row seats that I paid for were not available on the flight we had to take to Chicago instead of Philadelphia. I literally do not fit in a regular seat. I booked early, picked and paid for the seats I needed only to not be able to get the keg room that I needed. My trip home took 24 hours. It was a nightmare. We had to get our bags in Chicago, recheck them after customs, walk mikes through airports after traveling for hours longer than we should. I will attempt to not fly with BA in the future if I can avoid it.
The flight was 2 hours late getting to London causing us to miss our connection to Philadelphia resulting in our group traveling for 24 hours to get home in seats that were in the last row of planes even though we paid hundreds of dollars in seat upgrades to get the leg room that I need as a 6 ft woman with very long legs. The trip was a nightmare and it started with the failure to get a short flight to its destination on time.
I was not able to do an online check in for the connecting flight and therefore was not able to select a seat. I did not like having to sit in the middle isle.
On the morning of my travel I received an e-mail that my flight vom Dallas to London had been cancelled and re-booked onto another earlier flight which meant I had very little time to transfer. In addition I was told at the airport that I had to pick up my luggage in Dallas and drop it off again even though I had booked it as as 1 trip from chihuahua to London. Throughout my flight from chihuahua to Dallas I felt extremely stressed about the connection flight and did not appreciate that it was changed last minute on the morning of my travel. In addition since the flight was operated by AA I was not able to online check in for my connecting flight from Dallas to London and was therefore not able to select a seat and had to sit in the middle isle.
I am 6'3" and there is no way I can sit in one of the economy seats again. I could not even open the tray table because my knees where in the way. Smallest seats I have ever seen. Never again. I tried to purchase one of the exit rows or bulkhead seats when I booked the flight but was unable to.
More leg room
The 2 hour flight from London to Prague didn't offer a meal or entertainment. It would be nice if they could offer something more besides a bag of pretzels, maybe a snack pack, and there's enough time for a movie or a couple of TV episodes, or even a nice magazine.
Love the leg room and comfortable seats...
British Airways staff are courteous and efficient, they keep passengers happy and keep the bathrooms and aisles tidy. The selection of movies was ok, TV shows (sitcoms) were boring. I wish they offered Britbox/BBC shows
Terrible seats in business class and bad food.
On time.
All perfect
Small overcrowded flight with limited overhead storage bins. The last row 30 has no windows. The aircraft has no entertainment system. The flight is 3+ hrs and is not a low-cost, but the free snack is a laughable size: a SINGLE bite soft cake/pie.
Seats were extremely close not enough leg room
Excellent special assistance. Nice touch with the morning pastry. All in all excellent
As Expected
Fabulous crew and great entertainment.
Horribly uncomfortable seats
Staff was wonderful. There was no breakfast because a cooling system had not been repaired. My luggage didn’t make it on the plane in London, so I had to wait to have my luggage delivered. I’m a long ways from home to be without items in my bag. We have to wait to be reimbursed for costs
Very polite and welcoming staff and food I enjoyed.
Old wear of seats, uncomfortable, hard to seat. Entertainment equipment malfunctioning, sound system bad, old hardware. All together made my mind not to use BA going forward.
Seats are extremely uncomfortable, wear off, entertainment equipment old and malfunctioning.
Bag was missing when we landed at Cincinnati which caused lot of trouble.
Deleyes and missing connecting flights is ridiculous Waiting for bus for 45 min is unacceptable
The flight boarded two hours late and then we had an hour sitting in the aircraft before take off. Tempers got hot The actual flight was fine and the food was really tasty. Because we landed more than 3 hours late, I missed my connecting flight. No connecting flight for the rest of the day and had to sleep over. There was absolutely no support from BA on the other side. Nothing
A nice quick and easy flight. Crew was friendly and it was comfortable.
There was a two hour delay that wasn’t acknowledged or addressed. The seats recline button was just an empty hole so it wouldn’t recline. The food was low quality even for airline food. They also didn’t let people trying to make connecting flights de-plane first even though we were significantly delayed. Very disappointing flight on an airline who seems to have given up.
10 hour overnight flight and the entertainment system was out of service.
90 minute delay. Inefficient boarding, nowhere to sit at the gate. Staff rushed announcements on the plane.
Superb
On board British Airways flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x45x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the British Airways assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
