Every time, it never fails, they forceably try to sell insurance when the customer has already purchase one online. They state that the US-bought insurance is not valid, when it fact it is, and if you don't purchase their insurance, they put a $3000 hold on your credit card, which is ridiculous. Their insurance prices are bloated with exaggerated deductibles (sometimes the deductible are about 40% the value of the car). Hertz needs to make sure the company practices are the same everywhere where they are represented. These people in San Pedro are running their own show!Budget

After paying expensive taxi rides and hotel to get my rental from Payless I was told that there was no reservation and that there were no cars available anyway. In a very rudely and inconsiderate way. I was helpless and far away from my final destination until someone from a different car rental helped me and found me a rental.2.0 Poor
