Very old for rentalPrice was great.100,000 kilometers. Arm rests worn out. Lots of damage to car. Thirty minute wait for car. 2000 USD deposit.

They are running their own show at San Pedro SulaPrice is goodEvery time, it never fails, they forceably try to sell insurance when the customer has already purchase one online. They state that the US-bought insurance is not valid, when it fact it is, and if you don't purchase their insurance, they put a $3000 hold on your credit card, which is ridiculous. Their insurance prices are bloated with exaggerated deductibles (sometimes the deductible are about 40% the value of the car). Hertz needs to make sure the company practices are the same everywhere where they are represented. These people in San Pedro are running their own show!

They require you purchase their rental insurance, even though 1) when I made my reservation I declined their insurance and 2) I already have excellent rental car insurance through American Express and showed proof of this insurance when I checked in.

The pick-up was kind of difficult because we were given the wrong car and the same price increased a couple hundred dollars with insurance and taxes. A deposit is also required. The overall car was very nice!

Car was not available and had to rent from a different company. Representative at the reception area was poorly trained in customer service. Was told they did not have my reservation/confirmation in their system so therefore I had to make a new reservation for a new car rental with a different price than the one I had gotten originally. Never againAfter paying expensive taxi rides and hotel to get my rental from Payless I was told that there was no reservation and that there were no cars available anyway. In a very rudely and inconsiderate way. I was helpless and far away from my final destination until someone from a different car rental helped me and found me a rental.
