They didn't have the vehicle I had reserved, or any car for that reason that was automatic transmission. But also was told there would be the "mandatory insurance" of $180 USD which could not be waived. My car rental was $193 so I was not about to pay almost the same amount I paid for the rental in insurance. Even worse is that it was not disclosed by either Kayak or Budget. Will never again try Kayak or Budget in Mexico.8.0 Very good

They told me the total price $8 us dollars. The butget agent try to rip me off he daid he will charge me 150 dollars. And my bank send me a msg that i was being charged$418.00 us dollars. Straight crooks.Cons:

For starters, we arrived to the airport and Budget had no available cars. They had our reservation but no car?!?!? We waited for over na hour for a car to come from who knows where. It wasn't the car we had requested, it was dirty (not washed, garbage inside) and only half full of gas. when we did the contract they demanded and 32$ per day insurance that was mandatory. We had plans and needed a vehicle so we had to initial all the fine print (which. Así ally said that we were 100% responsible for anything that happened to the vehicle - even tho we purchased the "mandatory" insurance. When I made the reservation, the daily rate was 9$ per day, we ended up paying 60$ per day... how?!? Why?!? Corruption. When we arrived to return the vehicle because our flight was scheduled to leave in 2hrs, no one was at the counter nor would the answer my calls. 30 mins before we were scheduled to board, the manager showed up.Alamo

Nothing at all, I made the reservation through this website and once I landed they rented the car to a customer ahead of me in line, their explanation when asked why this was done was that they dont go off of online reservations its first come first serve whether you have a reservation. As a result I had wait 2 hours to catch a ride with someone and was without a vehicle for the duration of my vacation and had to cancel so many of my plans due to not having a car. Also must add that they practically force you to add their insurance and say it's against their policy to not have their insurance. This was with the same for Alamo and Hertz at the airport of Durango MexicoCons:
Respecting the reservation, and to not try to overcharge by changing reservation prices and lie and tell customers that you can not rent cars without their insurance.2.0 Poor

The car was never rented. I called the night before to confirm availability. They said yes, no problem. I arrive to the pickup desk and the Alamo rep said no sorry we don’t have any cars available until tomorrow. And besides the price you where quoted is wrong it’s way more than.2.0 Poor
