Pros:Staff was very friendly. Car was in great condition and clean.
Cons:I had a late night flight and the had to walk a ways into the poorly lit parking lot to get my rental car once it was rented. Maybe have the cars moved closer to the terminal especially for late night arrivals.
Pros:pickup us was easy, we decided to change cars before we left and the counter staff was very helpful. Drop off in another state at the airport usper easy!

Pros:Car was clean. Pickup and drop off was very easy.
Cons:The car had either a previous smoker or whoever cleaned up the car was a heavy smoker. Smell was bad enough to irratate my daughter's throat. As we had to sign that we would not smoke in the car, I didn't appreciate that the smell already smelled like smoke. Otherwise, the car ran good. Pickup and drop off were easy. It handled the icy parking lots/roads good.

Pros:Great staff and they worked with me regarding a breakdown problem.
Cons:Car broke down on highway at 50 miles. Difficult to get hertz to call back and bring a replacement car. It took 3 hours to get the replacement car. Hertz however gave me a 50% refund for the inconvenience.

Pros:Hertz was entirely without fault. Very polite, prepared and accommodating. Kayak did not clearly display that the 33% additional taxes, so my reasonable rate became EXPENSIVE. Too much SMALL PRINT, HIDDEN IN THE DETAILS, NOT CLEARLY STATED that YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY A LOT MORE.

Cons:Chevy Suburban, the Ford Expedition Max alarm system was going off middle of night for no reason. They could have used my debit card to charge like I asked them to.
Pros:The staff in Great Falls on 10th Ave are great... the cars not so much.
Cons:First, let me say the staff were great. The problem was the car. The key would not open it. Enterprise has no available staff to answer calls on Sunday.When finally opened, the car would not start. Had to use Uber A LOT. But they gave to 2 days credit and another car.
Pros:It appears easy IF you do not really want to get a car.
Cons:They had no record of the reservation and no cars available. I was forced to scramble for a last minute reservation from anyone who had a car and pay a higher price. PLUS, this took about an hour extra putting my whole schedule off.

Pros:We returned the first car after one day because of low tire pressure warning. Avis agent had a new car available immediately. It was a painless exchange. This was before we headed out on a 900 mile trip to Glacier Natl Park. So no worry about tires after that.
Cons:The first car was a bit sorry looking with lots of damage areas and 26,000 miles on it. But the second car was beautiful with only 9000 miles on it. The first car did not represent Avis reputation, but the second car definitely did.
Pros:The lady at my pickup point was wonderful, and after a 2 hour ordeal trying to rent the car she helped us sort everything out and get on the road. This was about the ONLY positive experience I had with Avis.
Cons:After being told my rental would be $1500 and repeatedly confirming this, I arrived at my pickup location and was told the price would be $2700. I did not have this amount accessible but was informed that the price could not be reduced until I payed that amount as a deposit. After two hours and a few phone calls begging for money, We had the car at a price of $2000 which I was expected to call up and negotiate about. Later in the trip our keys became locked in the trunk. This then became a 2 day ordeal in which avis had us towed us 100 miles and wasted hours of our time, ignoring everything I had told them as if I knew nothing. All our belongings, including phone and wallet were locked in the trunk. After arriving 100 miles and 3 hours away from where we were supposed to be staying we were informed the car could not be opened until the next morning. I explained that I could not pay for accommodation since I had nothing on me and the employee simply shrugged at me and handed me the keys to a different car. After sleeping in the car in a parking lot we returned the next day to find out, despite being told the car would be unlocked with another key by avis, that they had torn out the back seats and damaged our belongings.
