This was the worst rental car experience that I have ever had. I have an international driver's license. However, we evidently need a DIFFERENT international driver's license to cover Japan. Yes, I should have checked. Kayak or Enterprise or both ... should have said, "this is the type of international driver's license you need. Instead, we wasted two hours traveling from the Shizouka Train Station to the Shizouka Airport and back only to find that we couldn't rent a car. So very disappointing.
