Pick up is confusing, nobody there to go over the rental car for previous damage, and the same at drop off. I had to take lots of pictures and got accused of having a rock chip in windshield, witch was there before I took possession. I have no intentions to rent from Sixt ever again. The rental car had lots of previous damage and should have been repaired before it got brought back to the rental fleet. My thoughts are that Sixt does not take the safety of their customers and their passengers seriously.

Directions to sixt office were not clear
The vehicle that I had reserved was advertised as large enough for 5 passengers and 5 large suitcases, but the agent insisted that I needed to upgrade to a vehical costing 40 euro more per day. Then, the process of leaving the garage took an inordinate amount of time because the same agent failed to provide me with a valid parking garge ticket to exit. We had to return several times by foot in order to correct the situation to leave. Therefore, we arrived at our destination over 75 minutes late. The vehical itself did not have heat for the rear passengers. That mechanism did not work for the entire journey. Very poor experience for the price paid!
I was charged for one extra day because I wanted to pick the car up earlier, but it wasn't available when I arrived early. Other than that, I thought the drop off process was very easy and I liked the car
We had 2 cars reservations we made in Kayak website for our trip to Europe. When we got to Sixt at Munich, they told us our reservations are without any insurance for the cars.... We tried to explain to them that according to our reservations in Kayak website we need to have basic insurance, but they were very stricted, and asked us to add... 350€ for each car for the insurance! The cars were great, and the drop off service very efficient, but the value for money, after this addition, was not so good.
