We had to cancel our trip due to COVID and Sixth refused to refund our money or even a portion per their policy. They simply responded with "we know this isn't the answer you want however, we're not refunding any of your payment due to sound business practices". Customer service is a joke as it's basically non existent and forced to exchange emails. Terrible experience and I would never rent from this joke of a so called rental car company. Truly horrible. NEVER will I ever rent from Sixt again!Pros:The replacement car I got after the original car was returned. I must say that the gentleman who walked us to our cars and who got me a replacement car was so far superior to the desk staff that I suggested he find employment elsewhere where customer satisfaction matters.Cons:I have traveled for business all over the world for more than 40 years and have never encountered a worst rental car experience than the one I had with Sixt in St Lucia. It was so bad that not one of us (we rented three cars) would ever consider using Sixt again anywhere! It started with your staff at the check in desk where it took us more than 90 minutes to get our cars. The ladies at the desk were not in any way friendly, apologetic or courteous as they were checking in cars while we waited and waited. Then they told us that there were no cars as people were returning their vehicles late. Next we got into a lengthy discussion over our paying for a full tank of gas up front and a US$1,000 charge up front for possible damages. Finally we got on the road and the front end of my car was so bad that I thought a wheel was falling off. On our return we encountered the same two ladies with the same attitude problem. That is when we made ourselves a promise to NEVER use Sixt in any place in the world.Reviewed 2018 Apr 15

Different car then orderedPros:It was cleanCons:The tires were bald, the steering was dodgy, it was not the vehicle described in the ad, that being the vehicle I thought I was paying for. They added cost not described online at all. I ended up paying an extra $250USD. It also took a very long time to get the vehicle at pick up. oh, and they charged my credit card in Europe, so the number online I thought I was paying was even more.
