The pickup and drop off experience were seamless. The agent who helped us at car pickup was able to save us a little money too by adjusting out reservation times. His above and beyond service was greatly appreciated. I won't hesitate to use Alamo next time I'm in Vegas.

Overall good. However, we found the previous renter’s cell phone in the Qi console charger the day after we picked up the car (which was Sept. 8). This discovery required us making a special trip back to the Enterprise rental counter (at Las Vegas) on Sept. 9 where we waited in line and turned in the phone (that belonged to a “Chris”) before we could leave town and start our trip. We first called Enterprise and explained what happened but we received no help or guidance. Also we found an empty Red Bull aluminum can under the front passenger seat and an old credit card receipt under the driver’s seat. We hope that Enterprise was able to get the cell phone back to Chris (who we were able to talk to and explain to him that we were turning in his phone to the LV customer service desk).

Turn-in at the Ridgecrest office was superb! Car condition was excellent! Pick-up counter was manned with just two agents for regular customers, took about 30 minutes to get to an agent. Had no clue about being able to check-in on-line. I still don’t know what the on-line check-in entails.

Great quick service. Price. We were stuck in an emergency situation with a cancelled flight on Christmas Eve. You were open, easy, and friendly to navigate at all levels. The car was easy to drive and comfortable.

Prices are higher since the pandemic. I'd be happy to see a return to prices more in line with how little my income has increased. I was very happy with everything else.

Great. The only thing is if you make the slight change to the reservation they default to the default price. Make sure they respect the reservation price.

The car smelled like weed when I received it. It didn't matter how much I had the windows open, every time I got back in the car after it was closed up, it reeked of weed again. When I booked the rental Expedia, my receipt said all taxes and fees were included, but when I picked the car up from Hertz, I was charged over $140 in additional taxes and fees. Their customer service would not help with this issue, and repeatedly said I had to contact Expedia.

The pick up and drop was easy and quick. I’m just not happy with the condition of the car. It was dirty inside. Very dusty and trash left over from previous renters. It didn’t smell nice either.

First off, Tesla was not available when i went to pick up so they gave me an IONIQ Electric Vehicle. Contract said FULL charge and when i turned it on it only had 17% charge on it. i went back to advise AVIS they gave me another car MUSTANG MACH E. again contract said FULL charge but only had 75%. very frustrating and time consuming.

I would recommend a much clearer description of where the car is picked up and dropped off. In Vegas the rental car desk and vehicles were parked at the airport which is what I thought. However, Sixt is NOT on site in Salt Lake. That was a big issue and was not clear when I booked. I might have chose a different rental company if I’d known this. Also, since we were renting for 6 weeks this added extra taxes and a two invoice system that was not invoiced properly. Basically, the car was great but the admin side was not. Trying to speak to someone live on the phone to correct the incorrect invoicing was frustrating and took hours. There was an employee in Salt Lake I wanted to mention (The Austin) who went out of his way to help us. He explained the two invoice system, apologized for the confusion since we had driven all the way to the airport to be told it was offsite. He then drove us to our airport hotel since we didn’t have a way to get there. We dropped off the car the day before our flight and were planning to use the hotel shuttle to get us back/forth to the hotel. The Sixt drop off is down the interstate from the airport so it was an issue.

Pickup was great, drop-off went well too.. But the next day they emailed me and tried to make me take responsibility for a scratch that wasn't there at drop-off. I stayed for the entire checkout and confirmed with the employee that everything was in great condition and there was no damage. Sixt site was very deceptive. Won't use again.
