The entire experience was so very painless, from the car counter check in, the pickup, and the drop-off. All employees were so very helpful that you can tell that they enjoy their work. This is my third time using Sixt, and at this point - I will not use another service. Nothing beats the value and service.

We waited in line for 3 hours. Then they refused to take our credit card because it didn’t look like a credit card. Ultimately they agreed to try it and were surprised to see it worked (which is insane by itself). When we received the car (a convertible), the roof wouldn’t open so they offered us a replacement with a fixed roof, which to us made no sense. We asked for a refund and hopefully will get it. Never booking with Avis again.

We rented a one way car rental from Las Vegas. The charge was supposed to be $100.05 for the rental. When we got to the desk at Avis they charged an additional $200 deposit. It shows up on my online credit cards as a pending charge of $300.05. I don't know why the $200 isn't shown separately to begin with....just concerned how the accounting is done. We turned the car back in the same condition, so hopefully we get our deposit back....

We had to try 3 cars before we found one that was suitable. The first unit had totally bald tires that were actually below the federal tire wear marks and we were told we were responsible for any flats, the second car we were assigned seemed ok until we started out on the highway and it had a terrible vibration and steering shimmy which caused the steering wheel to constantly shake. We had to return it and finally received a car which had no issues. Both the second and third cars had not been cleaned properly and we had to stop and wash the car and clean is windshield and windows. THIS is not what you’d expect from AVIS.

I bought the insurance when booking the car, which was through a third party, but have since been told that it's best to purchase it from Budget when picking up the car. This ensures that coverage is adequate.

Very easy pick up experience on a Tuesday evening. You do have take a shuttle off airport to the main rental center, but there wasn't a line at all at the desk. Returning was also a breeze, no issues with the vehicle at all

Car didn’t break down What I didn’t like was guy at the counter not waiting on customers for 10 mins until his shift ended. He helped 1 customer in over 20 minutes. Car didn’t have many miles but drove like it had been wrecked. At drop off the women sat in a running car talking to a van driver and didn’t see us pull up. Pretty bad waste of time.

I don’t remember ever rent a car with more than 50k miles on it, the tires were quite worn , the place to pick up and return it’s far from the street, very inconvenient i saw clients walking with suitcases , it’s almost a mile

The car had not been checked prior to it being rented to us. Within 20 minutes of renting the car, the tire pressure light kept coming on. Turns out, they had rented the car to us with a screw in the tire. Dollar then did not provide any real assistance, instead sending us on a series of calls, causing me to have to cancel plans for a vacation that I had had in the works for 10+ years. An Enterprise employee (after Dollar sent us to one of their Hertz locations, knowing it had already closed for the day), helped us by ending air to the tire, or we would have been stranded. Additionally, the pick up agent charged me for coverage I had declined. I am now in the process of fighting the charges and the additional costs I incurred due to the tire issue.

The line wasn’t long, but the incessant questions about the add-ons that are confusing and tack on unnecessary charges are completely unnecessary and hold up to check out process. Each customer takes too long to check out because of these confusing questions.

I’m currently trying to have the charges to my credit card refunded. I used a card that is only digital and they refused to accept it since they don’t have card machines that take chip/tap payments. As of now I have paid twice. The employee was rude and not helpful with understanding their odd pick up process. I’ve never had to go out into the lot and pick a car I wanted and just jump in and drive off. It was easy but confusing and had to get someone from the car return area to assist me. The car was not in the best condition as far as cleanliness. The interior of the windshield was dirty with smudges and I ended up going to a car wash. Normally I would just clean the windshield myself but as a traveler the cost of winded, towels and the fact that most of it would be wasted was just as cost effective as a basic car wash. Knowing how this works now I would use fox again but I will not accept another car that had visibility issues from a dirty windshield. If customer service was good and the process explained thoroughly it would have been a much better experience. As of now I’d give it a 2 out of 5 ….. you get what you pay for.

I didn’t like that when I showed up to pick up the car all the terms had changed and what they had was not even close to what I rented online. And couldn’t even get a refund. I never picked up the car but lost out on the money I paid to get the car.

I would not do this again. Car was not clean, tank was only half full, we had to ride multiple shuttles to get to the lot and back to the airport, the pick location was in a trailer that was unclean and disorganized.
