Would've liked if there was more clarify around rental insurance rates offered by Kayak versus insurance rates offered by Enterprise as well as what happens when a renter elects one over the other. Also, information on how a customer can make an informed selection of one over the other before one picked up the car would've been helpful. Inconsequential for me in the end, but not for the couple in front of me.10.0 Wonderful

We loved our upgrade. We locked the keys in car and had prompt service on our last day.( 78 $ charge) No hidden charges however we purchased insurance through kayak and need to follow up to see if we can be reimbursed.10.0 Wonderful

My only complaint, which appears to be a problem with the landlord vs with Hertz, is a complete lack of signage in the underground mall where they are located. The Hertz rental counter is very near the stairs down to the subway-level mall, off Park Rd (at the southeast corner of the building).10.0 Wonderful

Quick registration, convenient pick-up and drop locationCons:
Rented a Chevrolet Impala online on 17 May for a ride on June 18 for USD 57.64. Ended up paying USD 84.16 for a Nissan Altima, with the minimum insurance option and all other relevant Canadian taxes and fees. The Car Rentals page that Kayak directed me to, never gave the full picture of my options. One should be made full aeare of his optios before engaging in a contract. Just showing the tip of the iceberg and misleading customers is simply not fair...2.0 Poor

Staff were friendly. One-way travel and central location (not airport) were great.Cons:
Car wasn't clean (food and spilled drink under seat), body had a number of dents, scratches that weren't documented. I booked an economy car and was given a choice between two fuel-inefficient cars for a long drive. Expensive because of one-way travel.8.4 Very good

Picking up the car was great. The attendant was very courteous and nice to deal with.Cons:
The person I dealt with at drop off was a jerk. I had parked the car in the after hours spot (next to the booth) because nobody was in the booth. Finally after about 5 min my wife found someone. He refused to check me out/check the car back in unless I got back in the car and moved out to the exact location he required. Like, refused. He told me it was impossible to give me my receipt unless I drove the car to that exact spot. When I asked him what would have happened if just dropped the keys in the drop off box, he said "well, that's different, there would have been nobody there to direct you". Well he wasn't when I was there, but he needed to argue with me for another 5 min to get me to move the car rather than do his job by cashing me out, letting me go on my way and taking the car where it needed to be.7.2 Good

I asked to pick up the car at the airport and the agency claimed that the pick up should be in the city otherwise the price will be increased! In addition the original price was not including insurance which cost me eventually around 500 CAD! So instead Of 780USD I Was charged 1800CAD! Read between the lines and verify everything 10 times before you book your car!2.0 Poor
