Victoria hotels in James Bay

Pros: the best breakfast and dining place I've ever been too. Very clean and best supervised. Food is always replenished. Never ran out. Definitely will comeback. Best location. Staff very friendly. Room is clean and comfortable.

Pros: the breakfast was delicious and the shower was very nice . and the Christmas decoration on the street was so beautiful

Pros: We really liked the location of the hotel. Close to everything we wanted to go to or see. Free breakfast and ample free parking too was a plus.

Pros: Being able to park the car and have a base to explore Victoria on foot. The savings allowed us to have a spa day and afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel. The breakfast buffet had good variety and well attended.

Pros: Extremely attractive hotel with perfect location by the waterfront. Easy walking distance all over town. We enjoyed our room overlooking the harbor. Gracious, helpful staff. We were happy with the Courtyard Cafe, which provided good sandwiches, coffee, and dessert for low-key suppers. Island Time Tours, booking right there in the Grand Pacific, took us to Butchart Gardens and picked us up again at our requested time. What a very nice arrangement. When it was time to leave Victoria, we chose the Victoria Airport YYJ Shuttle as more economical than a taxi. The Shuttle arrived at the front door and delivered us to the airport comfortably and in good time. We were happy in every way with our four nights at the Grand Pacific and would gladly stay there again.

Pros: Comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom, great view of the harbor, decent breakfast, cheap parking, awesome location and friendly staff. Also really liked the kitchenette space had it's own little space/nook! Best value for the area!

Pros: A comfortable suite is much better value for the money than a single room. Very clean and well decorated with neutral colours, granite counter... way better than a stark white wall. Bed was comfortable. Location is great, centrally located but not a crazy busy/noisy street. Great walking around James Bay and Fisherman's Wharf. I really, REALLY like that they take dogs too. The suite was super clean, no sign of dogs from other people which I liked (even though I have a dog)!

Pros: On the edge of the James Bay neighborhood, the Oswego is in walking distance to the Parliament, downtown, Chinatown and all the ferry and seaplane services in the inner harbor. Our family of four were very comfortable in the 1BR premium suite. The bistro is great for a cocktail with locals or a morning coffee. The concierge will hold your bags while you walk and shop if you’ve got a late clipper departure. We’ll be back!

Pros: The restaurant was wonderful. The food was so innovative and delicious. The staff was very friendly and offered every opportunity to help. I would definitely stay at this place the next time I'm in Victoria. I really appreciated the fact that it was actually further away from all of the other hotels because it was quiet and peaceful.

Pros: The location was amazing and the staff at the front desk and front door were extremely helpful and friendly. We were here for the Goodlife Fitness marathon.

Pros: Room overlooked inner harbor. Very clean with very helpful staff. Restaraunt menu did not have enough basic food choices, no chicken for my wife but I did enjoy my sable fish..The room was missing a selection of glassware as only had 2 glasses for all purposes, also did not have a makeup mirror which my wife prefers. All in shall s nice spit to stay . We will return.
