Cons: How 1 staff member can destroy the positive image you had of a company! That resumes our experience when we picked up our car in Amsterdam.

Cons: Check in took ages c40 mins I think and as a result was late for my meeting
Exceptional customer service
Pros: The pick up and drop off processes were super fast and friendly. I am not used to driving European cars and they answered a few questions that I felt were...lets say "basic", without making me feel like an idiot. The man at the vehicle return was very nice as well and informed me where the nearest gas station was so that I could fill up and return quickly before my reservation expired and I would have to pay for the gas refill.

Pros: Fast and professional service. Very nice people on the floor when you actually take the car.
Nightmare rental and ruined our Christmas.
Cons: We picked up the rental and immediately noticed the poor condition of vehicle. I told attendant and they said there was nothing that could be done. When arriving to our hotel and the city areas we noticed it wasn't going into gear properly. The valet attendant at the hotel also mentioned to us that something was wrong. We notified the company immediately and after 4 hours of waiting for a mechanic to show we decided to go get our kids something to eat. When we got back the mechanic had come and took the car with our personal belongings. Car seat, stroller and baby carrier and bag well over $1,000 worth of things. I had to pay over $100 in cab fees and call the police to get my things back from the company. This was all on Christmas Day. No one tried to fix or make this up to us. They did not care at all. I ended up having to spend $700 more in a rental because that's all that was available with another company at short notice on Christmas. I don't understand how people can be so cold hearted and inconsiderate.

Pros: The pick up agent is slow and unfair. She charged us for 2nd driver without our consent. Also, it took her over one hour to complete the process yet our pick up time started as soon as we talked.

Pros: nice van. Exactly what we needed.
Cons: Price for an additional day was absurdly high. Van had dents all over it.
Quick and efficient
Pros: Car was what we expected and we were able to get in and out of the Avis counter pretty quickly. At the end, we dropped off the keys in the dropbox, which was convenient. Drop-off is 24/7.

Cons: The rental pickup and return was terrible. I tried to change the location for the pickup and return, and spent hours on the phone trying to contact the locations themselves, without success.
I first called from the U.S. to try to pick up the car in the city of Amsterdam instead of Schipol airport -- I was told this would cost me an additional $900! Attempts to reach the rental locations in Amsterdam to confirm this were impossible - on hold for more than an hour. When I went to Schipol airport to pick up the car, they told me that I could have picked up the car in the city center at no extra charge!
Similar situation on the dropoff -- I was unable to reach any location to see if I could drop the car closer to my hotel in Paris.
Finally, I left a pair of sunglasses in the car. I spent three days trying to call the bureau to see if they were found, and also emailed the customer service departments in Paris and Amsterdam. No response
Cons: We used the car for less than 24 hours but Avis charged us for 2 days. Fuel on the car when we rented it was supposed to be full. It was a little over 3/4 full

Cons: not clear from website that car was too small for 3 passengers plus suitcases
Wrong Car, Wrong Insurance, Big Headache
Cons: When I arrived, the car I booked wasn't available. The car they replaced it with was too small for our group, so we were stuck cramped in a tight space and having to shuttle back and forth for our whole trip. I asked for full insurance coverage and only received basic coverage. Now they say there is a small scratch on the bumper and have charged 850 euros to my credit card for the damage. This has been an absolute nightmare.

Cons: Pickup is outside of terminal. Pickup took very long. longer than 20minutes. and conditions are overwhelming. Greenmotion requires you to do a car wash before return. Our car had some bird poop on it and we had to pay for it.

When I pressed GET DIRECTIONS I expect it to be the correct address.
