Pros: location was great - VERY close to the ferris wheel. Rooms were clean and decorated with a very modern/trendy decor. The bed was comfortable.

Hotel is hard to navigate - you have to go up some steps for registration....and down steps, and up another few steps to get to the elevator, which is hard to find. The restaurant staff was inattentive, and more concerned with mocking a customer that had left earlier than asking if I wanted a table, or would like to see the menu. (All of this when the restaurant was empty. Checking in was VERY annoying. There was a couple at the desk (which looks like a concierge booth) - it took her almost 20 minutes to finish checking in that couple. She was very rude with me. Spoke too fast, and when I asked if she could please repeat, she got upset, and mumbled something incoherent, and then mockingly spoke loud and VERY slowly.

Cons: We opted to pre-check the day before arrival and requested a spacious room from the options. The room we received was so small that there was no space to place our open luggage! Also, the shower was fairly small and no bathtub.

Cons: The management was terrible, I was double charged by the Hotel and ended up getting stuck in Atlanta and missing 2 days of work, which were 2 days I didnt get paid for. Overall it was a really stressful and bad experience.

The valet, Lonnie, was very helpful with directions getting around the city. Everyone was accommodating and seemed genuinely concerned that each guest was happy and taken care of.

Pros: The hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Atlanta, and is right across the street from a MARTA stop, making it easy to get around town. The price on Kayak, only $90 a night, made it easily the cheapest hotel in the area. However, I would be disappointed if I had paid full price ($140 and up) for the stay.
Cons: The room was fairly small and cramped, the doors opened in on the bathroom and made it very difficult for two people to comfortably stand in front of the mirror. We reserved two nights, and the morning after the first night we had people coming to our door and calling the room, asking if we were "staying an extra night." It turns out they had misread the reservation and thought it was only one night. Some of the staff were very nice, but it was a little offputting to feel like we were being asked to leave when we had the room reserved. Overall, the hotel was okay, but I wouldn't be too excited to stay again.

Staff members were cheerful, respectful, intelligent, and able to adapt to situations as needed. There was a full gym, which I did not expect (I figured a couple of treadmills, tops), and a nice-sized computer/business room. The restaurant's breakfast offerings were varied, so that even my limited diet was catered to, and deliciously so. The chicken strips during the evening wine hour were also quite tasty, and my roommate says the wine was lovely. All in all a lovely experience. MAJOR props to housekeeping.

Then the next day the alarm clock in the next room to ours started beeping at 5am with no one there to turn it off. I had to call the guest services to ask for someone to turn it off. Of course all the kids I had sleeping with me woke up at 5am!!! not the way you want to sleep at a 5 star hotel!

There's no decor, and it makes one a little nervous as to what their room will look like after they get off the elevator. Also, the parking garage needs more employees. It takes too long to get a car from Valet. Lastly, the Concierge service takes way to long. My friend called in the morning and asked for a toothbrush, it took 42 minutes to receive one.

Cons: Elevator was not working most of the time, there was a tear on the carpet by the balcony, I was adviced to use the stairs after waiting for several minutes on the only working elevator. Walked to the 14th floor and my card didn't work. I called front desk right away for a replacement card. They explained that they will send someone up, 30min later, nothing, I went downstairs and the staff was short and lazy. I politely asked for a replacement card and asked if there is any kind of compensation for all the inconveniences that happened. Front desk said there is nothing they can do. It is very unlikely I'll get a room there again.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Was travelling with my seven year old and was impressed with every facet of this facility. The proximity to Phillips Arena, World of Coke, GA Aquarium, Olympic Park, CNN, and the College Football Hall of Fame make it the ideal hotel for an Atlanta vacation. The food court in the CNN center was also very, very convenient and provides plenty of options for those traveling with children as I was. The vast majority of the guests in the hotel appeared to be there on business but the hotel is very family friendly as well. My room was extremely clean and well-appointed. I arrived hours ahead of the check in time and was permitted to check in early. I look forward to staying again.

Took 30 min. before the noise stopped. Then at 7am CNN starts blaring in the atrium and echoes off all of the walls, every morning. I asked for a blanket three times, but never got one. I couldn't wait to leave.

Pros: I can definitely appreciate the hotel opening it's doors to people displaced from the hurricane in Florida. Staff seemed to try their best with handling off situations.
Cons: The worst part of our stay, of several bad occurrences, would be the valet parking. It was pure chaos. In one situation, we waited 45 minutes after calling 10 minutes ahead. We missed our reservation because of it. Front desk apologized but for the high cost of valet parking offered no discount or refund for the inconvenience of their staff.

Cons: I am apparently different than most, but I enjoy my privacy in the bathroom. Our room had a type of barn door on a track, but it didn't fully close. If you were in the bed watching tv, you could see someone sitting on the toilet. Just a personal preference that the door is completely closed.

Pros: TL,DR; List: - Clean and modern - Awesome view - Two blocks from Centennial Park and all the attractions there (Aquarium, Coke museum, etc) - The staff was pretty awesome and very friendly We were there for only two nights for a concert that was in the park, so the location was the entire reason I chose the hotel. The room was a tad small, but well maintained and modernly furnished. I wish they had glass doors in the shower instead of a tub and a curtain, as I have 3 kids that don't know how to keep the curtain in the tub and thus the water not all over the bathroom floor. There were a LOT of places to eat around the hotel, but most were either SUPER pricey or not opened on the weekend as the most likely catered to the business crowd. There is an underground mall that we found had a pizza joint and a chinese place opened. Waffle House is also a couple blocks away, and on your way to the park. We also walked over to The Varsity for lunch so the kids could experience it. It was about a 20min walk each way. Other immediate eateries I saw: Hooters (across the street, open till midnight), Hard Rock Cafe (also across the street), some brazillian steakhouse that looked AMAZING, a fish place named Ray's that looked pretty pricey, several bar-and-grill type places, and some cozy little place a block down that had a cute name that had southern food. Parking was crazy. My GPS took me to the smaller entrance, so I wasn't aware there was self-parking right at the hotel. It was $22 per day to self-park, but I ended up where the guard pointed me towards a block away for $20 a day. I would have rather paid the extra $2 a day and had the car in a more convenient location. Since we were just there a couple days, and had no intention of going anywhere in the car, the only benefit would have been packing our stuff into the car and taking off without having to walk through the city with all our luggage. The pool was a bit interesting. I loved the fact that it was inside, so even though it was raining all weekend, the kids and I were able to take a dip. It's a strange little pool, not concrete but rather some sort of plastic insert. The biggest let down was that we did not see a hot tub. Nothing better to relax after standing for a 4hr concert in the park than to relax in the hot tub. Also, to get to the pool (and the workout room), you have to go to the 9th floor, then over to another elevator off to the side, then up to the 11th floor. Seemed very strange, but I guess they may have added the pool later. Lastly, we found out the last day that you can go up to the tippy-top floor, where they have some observation decks setup. We got all excited, since the hotel is like 70+ floors, and we were told you can see several states away. However, we found out that it isn't opened until like 3pm, and being out last day and having a 8hr drive back home ahead of us, we were not able to actually go up there. Oh well, maybe next time.

I appreciated the security of needing your key card to enter the building at night and to get the elevator to go to guest room floors.

Cons: We drove around Atlanta for 20 minutes looking for the hotel as the GPS did not direct us properly. When we called the hotel for better directions the message that plays is something to the extent of "This mailbox is not accepting messages". I checked in at 9:50pm and was told the water would be shut off from 10pm until 1am. I quickly used the restroom and brushed my teeth not knowing how long there would be water. After settling, I went to the lobby to print my boarding passes for my flight the next day and the computer would not work. When I asked about it, I was told it hasnt worked for a while and was offered a ride to Kinkos the next day to print my boarding pass. Being that I was there for business I did not have time to go to Kinkos. When I woke up at 6:40 the next morning there was still no running water. This meant no way to flush the toilet, brush my teeth, or shower for my business meeting. Overall not impressed with my stay. They should have transferred guests to a different Marriott branch in the city that had running water.

I checked out at 8 am the next day and there was still no water .... therefore, there was no way to flush a toilet, take a shower or brush my teeth. The staff upon checkin, during my stay and checkout were excellent, helpful and kind.

Cons: Room could have been cleaner. Bathroom smelled like Pee, and my wife found a tiny rubber band in the bathtub. Neither of us wear braces. Other than that expect to pay typical hotel prices for everything. Overpricing is sadly the norm at places like these.

Beds were very soft, full-sized, not queen as written in description. No complimentary breakfast. No hot water. Our showers were luke-warm. Would not stay here again. The people who wrote good reviews must never stay in hotels. It's a step above camping, and a step below Holiday Inn.

Pros: Pretty good location. Walking distance to aquarium and World of Coke, and MARTA station. Series of skywalks connecting hotels made it nice to walk around Atlanta out of the heat, and away from traffic. A little tricky finding how they all connect up inside each hotel, though.
Cons: Elevator from parking deck came up into a construction area: there was no sign indicating this would be the case. That area was closed for entry from the hotel lobby. Other elevator to/from parking deck had a stop on the LL level which was a room slightly larger than the elevator, but with the exit doors chained shut. Seemed like a fire hazard or a claustrophobic nightmare. Every little thing was an extra fee, including the internet whose price didn't match what was on the reservation. The restaurant in the basement, Trader Vic's, doesn't know the difference between a "reservation" and a "wait list."

Pros: Hotel is clean, has multiple on-site restaurants including Atlanta's only Tiki Bar, service is prompt and is connected by Slybridge to The Marriot Marquis convention center/hotel.
Cons: They recently removed their pool and are in the process of installing a large conference center instead. The pillows on the bed are on the flat side and difficult to sleep on, but the front desk is able to get you extra pillows.

In a central location, very close to several landmarks including Olympic park, CNN, etc. Even though it is on the side of a highway, the room is sealed very well. It is very quiet. Cons: I complained on 2 of the intended three nights of smoking. THere was clearly smoking in one of the rooms near mine or on the floor below. The security team agreed and said that they could not do anything about it. Clearly the cleaning staff would have noticed after one night and been able to stop it. I had a headache and woke up with my allergies inflamed . I had to leave the hotel. I went to the Marriott Midtown Suites...awesome...

Cons: Fire alarm went off at 5 am and it took a full hour for the staff to get it turned off. I got the impression from several staff members that this happens fairly regularly. There was also no organized announcement of any information, so many guests weren't sure if there was an actual emergency or not. Some guests were left standing outside on fire escapes long after everyone in the lobby had been told we could go back to our rooms. Facilities were not in great shape - the hook in the bathroom for the towels fell off the wall as soon as we put a towel on it.
