Pros: location was great - VERY close to the ferris wheel. Rooms were clean and decorated with a very modern/trendy decor. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Very unfriendly staff. Robe was VERY small! Hotel is hard to navigate - you have to go up some steps for registration....and down steps, and up another few steps to get to the elevator, which is hard to find. The restaurant staff was inattentive, and more concerned with mocking a customer that had left earlier than asking if I wanted a table, or would like to see the menu. (All of this when the restaurant was empty. Checking in was VERY annoying. There was a couple at the desk (which looks like a concierge booth) - it took her almost 20 minutes to finish checking in that couple. She was very rude with me. Spoke too fast, and when I asked if she could please repeat, she got upset, and mumbled something incoherent, and then mockingly spoke loud and VERY slowly.

Pros: The hotel has a nice boutique feel. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: We opted to pre-check the day before arrival and requested a spacious room from the options. The room we received was so small that there was no space to place our open luggage! Also, the shower was fairly small and no bathtub.

Cons: The management was terrible, I was double charged by the Hotel and ended up getting stuck in Atlanta and missing 2 days of work, which were 2 days I didnt get paid for. Overall it was a really stressful and bad experience.

The valet, Lonnie, was very helpful with directions getting around the city. Everyone was accommodating and seemed genuinely concerned that each guest was happy and taken care of.

Pros: The hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Atlanta, and is right across the street from a MARTA stop, making it easy to get around town. The price on Kayak, only $90 a night, made it easily the cheapest hotel in the area. However, I would be disappointed if I had paid full price ($140 and up) for the stay.
Cons: The room was fairly small and cramped, the doors opened in on the bathroom and made it very difficult for two people to comfortably stand in front of the mirror. We reserved two nights, and the morning after the first night we had people coming to our door and calling the room, asking if we were "staying an extra night." It turns out they had misread the reservation and thought it was only one night. Some of the staff were very nice, but it was a little offputting to feel like we were being asked to leave when we had the room reserved. Overall, the hotel was okay, but I wouldn't be too excited to stay again.

Pros: The rooms were clean and lush with plenty of small comforts like extra towels. I was, according to my roommate, asleep in seconds after hitting my pillow. Staff members were cheerful, respectful, intelligent, and able to adapt to situations as needed. There was a full gym, which I did not expect (I figured a couple of treadmills, tops), and a nice-sized computer/business room. The restaurant's breakfast offerings were varied, so that even my limited diet was catered to, and deliciously so. The chicken strips during the evening wine hour were also quite tasty, and my roommate says the wine was lovely. All in all a lovely experience. MAJOR props to housekeeping.

It was a little frustrating I wished more hospitality and clarity for our first time there... Then the next day the alarm clock in the next room to ours started beeping at 5am with no one there to turn it off. I had to call the guest services to ask for someone to turn it off. Of course all the kids I had sleeping with me woke up at 5am!!! not the way you want to sleep at a 5 star hotel!

Cons: The hallways on the actual guest room floors leave more to be desired. They are dark and gloomy. There's no decor, and it makes one a little nervous as to what their room will look like after they get off the elevator. Also, the parking garage needs more employees. It takes too long to get a car from Valet. Lastly, the Concierge service takes way to long. My friend called in the morning and asked for a toothbrush, it took 42 minutes to receive one.

Walked to the 14th floor and my card didn't work. I called front desk right away for a replacement card. They explained that they will send someone up, 30min later, nothing, I went downstairs and the staff was short and lazy. I politely asked for a replacement card and asked if there is any kind of compensation for all the inconveniences that happened. Front desk said there is nothing they can do. It is very unlikely I'll get a room there again.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Was travelling with my seven year old and was impressed with every facet of this facility. The proximity to Phillips Arena, World of Coke, GA Aquarium, Olympic Park, CNN, and the College Football Hall of Fame make it the ideal hotel for an Atlanta vacation. The food court in the CNN center was also very, very convenient and provides plenty of options for those traveling with children as I was. The vast majority of the guests in the hotel appeared to be there on business but the hotel is very family friendly as well. My room was extremely clean and well-appointed. I arrived hours ahead of the check in time and was permitted to check in early. I look forward to staying again.

I couldn't wait to leave.

Cons: The worst part of our stay, of several bad occurrences, would be the valet parking. It was pure chaos. In one situation, we waited 45 minutes after calling 10 minutes ahead. We missed our reservation because of it. Front desk apologized but for the high cost of valet parking offered no discount or refund for the inconvenience of their staff.

Cons: I am apparently different than most, but I enjoy my privacy in the bathroom. Our room had a type of barn door on a track, but it didn't fully close. If you were in the bed watching tv, you could see someone sitting on the toilet. Just a personal preference that the door is completely closed.

Cons: There was an incident on our floor with a rowdy guest banging on our door at 2 am. When we called the front desk, they said they were aware of the situation and hung up. When checking out the next day, they barely acknowledged it and said we were the only guests to complain and claimed the floor was full. Pros: TL,DR; List: - Clean and modern - Awesome view - Two blocks from Centennial Park and all the attractions there (Aquarium, Coke museum, etc) - The staff was pretty awesome and very friendly We were there for only two nights for a concert that was in the park, so the location was the entire reason I chose the hotel. The room was a tad small, but well maintained and modernly furnished. I wish they had glass doors in the shower instead of a tub and a curtain, as I have 3 kids that don't know how to keep the curtain in the tub and thus the water not all over the bathroom floor. There were a LOT of places to eat around the hotel, but most were either SUPER pricey or not opened on the weekend as the most likely catered to the business crowd. There is an underground mall that we found had a pizza joint and a chinese place opened. Waffle House is also a couple blocks away, and on your way to the park. We also walked over to The Varsity for lunch so the kids could experience it. It was about a 20min walk each way. Other immediate eateries I saw: Hooters (across the street, open till midnight), Hard Rock Cafe (also across the street), some brazillian steakhouse that looked AMAZING, a fish place named Ray's that looked pretty pricey, several bar-and-grill type places, and some cozy little place a block down that had a cute name that had southern food. Parking was crazy. My GPS took me to the smaller entrance, so I wasn't aware there was self-parking right at the hotel. It was $22 per day to self-park, but I ended up where the guard pointed me towards a block away for $20 a day. I would have rather paid the extra $2 a day and had the car in a more convenient location. Since we were just there a couple days, and had no intention of going anywhere in the car, the only benefit would have been packing our stuff into the car and taking off without having to walk through the city with all our luggage. The pool was a bit interesting. I loved the fact that it was inside, so even though it was raining all weekend, the kids and I were able to take a dip. It's a strange little pool, not concrete but rather some sort of plastic insert. The biggest let down was that we did not see a hot tub. Nothing better to relax after standing for a 4hr concert in the park than to relax in the hot tub. Also, to get to the pool (and the workout room), you have to go to the 9th floor, then over to another elevator off to the side, then up to the 11th floor. Seemed very strange, but I guess they may have added the pool later. Lastly, we found out the last day that you can go up to the tippy-top floor, where they have some observation decks setup. We got all excited, since the hotel is like 70+ floors, and we were told you can see several states away. However, we found out that it isn't opened until like 3pm, and being out last day and having a 8hr drive back home ahead of us, we were not able to actually go up there. Oh well, maybe next time.

I appreciated the security of needing your key card to enter the building at night and to get the elevator to go to guest room floors.
Cons: Every morning we woke up there, we were congested. After we left the hotel each day, we felt great (and neither of us were sick before or after our stay). I question the air quality from the air conditioning. The bathroom was very small and the grout in the shower was stained to a degree that I was grateful to have remembered my shower shoes. The exit to the valet was very convenient, but exits to walk onto the street were less obvious.

Pros: You can't beat the location. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Cute room layout. Free cookies, coffee/tea, and fruit-infused water at front desk. Good free breakfast. During breakfast, the manager even walked around to all the tables and asked how everyone's stay was. He was very personable, as was all the staff. Excellent customer service. Overall incredible value. Hamptons seem to be really stepping up their game lately.
Cons: The TV didn't work the morning of our checkout. Also, you have to pay for parking, but it's honesty not really a negative because you'd have to pay for parking anyway to do any downtown Atlanta activities.
