No instructions on how to use keyless car. Card or manual in glove box would be helpful. 1. Step on brake to start car while pushing start/stop button. 2. How to open the gas tank and where it's located. 3. Toll E Z Pass use. 4. How to open rear door on SUV. Not all of us have these features in our cars. And no visual indicators for this inside car. It was trial and error finding skills. Called my sister who knew how to open gas tank, I would have never found it!. Both SUV's I rented were a little different with these things. But both were very comfortable and made for a great drive.8.8 Very good

We loved the Nissan SUV that we were given. Might even buy one ourselves :). The pickup was a couple of hours too early, but that was an easy adjustment for the salesperson. Loved the good deal from KAYAK. Saved about $350 total for one week!Cons:
I honestly don't like the hard sell that car rental companies often do and Alamo was no exception. She tried to sell me the full tank of gas, insurance that would have duplicated what we already had, told us about a toll booth gadget, but did not inform us there would be high charges if we used it $3.95/day we later found out. I would love it if ONE car company was truly honest and told us "You really don't need this, but we offer it"9.6 Wonderful

Had rented an intermediate level car for fuel efficiency for the long one way drive. After waiting 30+ minutes for the rental shuttle to come to airport, we were taken to a dirty building that was chaotic. They didn’t have enough rentals so it was either take the inefficient SUV or wait even longer for another return. The SUV was dirty as well. The return location at Trenton airport lacks signs on the road telling you which lot to drop it off in as well as the prerecorded message when you call the location doesn’t help.9.2 Wonderful

The people at the Bangor location were very nice - although I have to once again say that I have never had a better experience than what we have come to expect from Lance Reardon at your Ellsworth facility ...Lance is THE man!!!Cons:
It is a very minor thing to mention, but I dislike when I get a car that has less than a full tank - it is easy to fill up before returning but I invariably overfill when I was given a car that was 3/4 or less9.6 Wonderful

I did not like that I had to take a shuttle from the airport. My big problem is when I dropped my car off I had a flight to catch, but I had to wait att he enterprise store which is 5 miles from the airport for the shuttle to return. I ended up having to wait 15 minutes.9.2 Wonderful

They wouldn’t let me have the car bc my card I’d prepaid in full with was a MasterCard debit card (instead of a credit card), & also bc my return flight location didn’t match the location I was dropping off the rental car. The man a the counter said he couldn’t refund me, but gave me a 1-800 number to call instead. I spent about an hour on the phone during my vacation trying to get refunded. One time I was on hold for 20 minutes and the lady accidentally disconnected our phone call, so I had to call & go through the entire process again.A rental car company two counters over was more than happy to rent to me with my debit card & return flight that didn’t match the car drop off, with a price considerably less than Avis’s. When we arrived, we were told that they did not have a car for us and could not get one. They said we could wait around to see if someone else did not pick up their rental and we could have their car. After waiting for an hour, we were told that we would have to come back to the airport in the morning to pick up a car. Our hotel was over an hour away, so we asked if they would pay for us to stay in a hotel nearby. We were told "no", that we would have to come back at 11am the next day. After paying to get a ride to our hotel and back to the airport, they gave us a measly $35 credit for our trouble. I would ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE rent a car from them again.10.0 Wonderful
